Not a fan of top freezers as I have to bend to get most things as I use the fridge more. I assume that's the case for most folks, which is why the fridge compartment is so much larger. Under normal conditions, they did this due to the condenser I heard, but in a garage model with independent cooling units, it shouldn't matter. Regardless, garage models only come in this one format. Ok, so it's a garage fridge I'll deal with it. Nice sized freezer without much shelving and NO LIGHT! Ya, that makes no sense. Still over $1,000 on top of it.

It was designed to be a no frills appliance and it has been economically priced. The only aspect I would change would be to include temperature gauges in the separate compartments.

Great Unit but delivery not so much

The delivery guys are suppose to remove it but they just left it with the film still on.

Nice sleek look, with no fingerprints. Plenty of storge space in main fridge, with a decent amount in the freezer. Fit perfectly in our kitchen space.

Would not buy at regular price as it has flaws. The rubber seal for the freezer is not secure. Every time you close the frig door the freezer door pops open. Looking at both rubber seals, they appear to be different material. The freezer is harder and not so compliant and the frig is softer and better seal. I ended up getting a cheap child proof latch for both doors to keep both closed.

Posted .It is not unusual on a two-door refrigerator for one door to pop open when the other door is being closed. The refrigerator and freezer sections are connected by air channels to allow air to pass between them. Slamming or vigorously pushing a door shut forces air from one cavity into the other, often pushing the second door open. Check the level legs. The front should be slightly higher than the back. Also, place heavier items in the freezer door compartments to provide some ballast (weight), since this is the smaller door and is more likely to pop open. -Vikki@GEAppliances
