nice fridge but it would be better if controls are in the rear instead up front like to have doors reverse seems like i couldn't get that done

First frig was a BB brand and it could keep temps up set on high. Got this GE for replacement and it came from factory all dented up on the bottom, scuff and scratches along with delivery guy taking the doors off incorrectly which resulted in damage. After talking with the wife, we called BB and told them it was really messed up and we would plug it in and try it if they would cut the price in around half of what we paid. They said they could only take 100 off or give extended warranty. We said that was not enough, we would have bought a scratch and dent instead. So we returned it. Then I see the frig came up as a open box unit for 579, which really made us upset, we would have kept it for that. Disappointed with this whole thing.

I didn’t like it. The refrigerator is small on the inside. It would have been more spacious if I bought different brands than GE

I'm very happy with this refrigerator. Great price and it was available with the week. It has plenty of space in both the fridge and the freezer. Works great. Delivery was smooth!

I really love the stainless steel refrigerator top freezer it runs very quietly keeps my food nice and cold plenty of space I wasn't looking for anything fancy and this fit the bill perfectly.

So far this is an excellent option for our garage refrigerator. Even during the CoViD pandemic, this was a smooth transition from Best Buy. The delivery was on time (early, in fact) and the guys dropped it off in my garage (just enough inside to be inside but far enough away to stay socially distant). Overall great experience and the refrigerator has met our needs for a second refrigerator. Thanks!

Have had this for about a month now and its been great to have in the garage for extra food storage. Huge freezer with a shelf for better storage space.

because of our space, we were very limited in choices of refrigerators. We choose this one and I am a bit disappointed.. not because it wasn't what I was hoping to be able to get and couldn't... I just think the shelving on the door is flimsy ... although there is so much storage on the door. Just limited on space and wish the shelves were adjustable and rolling

This replaces a Samsung side by side that was nothing but problems. This is a workhorse, cools quickly, keeps everything at the perfect temperature. It doesn't wow with features, but it is a great value if you are seeking a refrigerator that simply works well, and doesn't continually try to kill you with food poisoning. I'm looking at you Samsung. Never again Samsung. This refrigerator is a joy and such a value that I am buying a second one to double our capacity, and all at low money. So I'll have a 40 cu ft refrigerator for less that that monstrosity I had. Win! Did I mention the ice cream is always cold but still scoopable? Buy it.

Great top freezer frig for me (bending over to search of frozen items is not for me). I did notice the ice maker (installed on site) is a bit noisy. I like that I can switch sides of the door handle, if necessary.

I seem to have received a defective unit, as the freezer does not get cold enough to keep ice cream frozen, even on the coldest setting. Through my own fault, I didn't investigate this with a thermometer and examining each setting until past the exchange window. I'm going through GE for warranty and hope they'll be able to offer a swift fix. Don't make the same mistake I did and be diligent about monitoring temperatures from day 1. It seems there are a lot of lemons based on these reviews.

Had to make an emergency purchase and this open item refrigerator was a great deal for a replacement

We've the GE - 21.9 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Stainless steel in our home about 2 weeks. SO FAR the GE refrig is a MAJOR improvement over our previous refrig which was a Whirlpool 19.2 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator - Stainless steel. We had the Whirlpool refrig just a few days less than 2 years. In that time, ice cream in the freezer never froze and veggies in the refrig often did freeze. We had to replace the Whirpool after owning less than 2 years because the COMPRESSOR FAILED and the refrig would not cool the freezer stopped freezing. We has to throw out most of our food. Very disappointed with Whirlpool. We hope the new GE 21.9 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator that we bought at BEST BUY is a better more reliable appliance.

What i expected. Came when expected. Peeled off plastic and put push pin on opposite door handle side.
