I hurt my back trying to reach for items on the bottom shelves. It did not come with ice cube trays either so I was glad we saved the old ones from the four year old fridge that died. Hoping this one lasts since we paid so much for it. I would be happier about the purchase if it was not so short.

Freezer section was not fully sealed so condensation occurred quickly causing icicles to form near the door within a few days of receiving it. Best Buy exchanged and replaced it with no hassle. Freezer works fine in new one but the refrigerator part is getting condensation. GE must have defects in their gaskets and seals with this fridge.

I filed a BBB complaint and GE replaced it. The new unit worked marginally better until recently. Currently the garage is not cold at all - it is in the 80s. The cold settings are MAX and the fridge is nearly 40 and the freezer is between 5 and 10 degrees. Not cold enough to be safe!
