Slate finish looks nice and turns out to be very practical in that it doesn't show hand prints or grime. Sound level is ok, but might be a little loud in a kitchen. Interestingly, the GE badge on the door front was missing. Best Buy delivery was uneventful, no issues or problems.

While nothing fancy, it functions well and is quite spacious for party trays and general freezer and refrigerator items. The drawers are large. Generous space on door shelves. So far, very pleased with this purchase.

Due to the limited styles available for side by side I purchased the Top Freezer Refrigerator. Needless to say after 20 + years of GE products, this model was lacking in amount of shelves and lighting. One has to bend down carefully (bottom shelf) and not hit you head on the top freezer portion. A lot of cut backs on material but if this lasts at least 10-15 years???? Too soon to tell if it will last.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the inside was scraped and damaged. the Store at Fort Worth TX took care of it for me also the folks that came to install it were rude and didn't even take the plastic off the Refrigerator or show us it was even working. The Item works well and its what we needed so that in the end is good.
