This refrigerator is not meant to operate in ambient temperatures that exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit. If you’d like to share your feedback regarding installation and delivery with Best Buy, their customer service can be reached at 1 (888) 237-8289. Regarding noise, we do expect the refrigerator to make some sounds as it operates; newer models can sound a bit different than older models because of newer technology and additional features. If it may be helpful, more information on what noises the refrigerator may make is available on page 19 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. Your feedback will be shared with our team for review.

Six months later, service was required because of loud knocking & failure to cool. This refrigerator is SO LOUD with intermittent knocking.

It was so difficult to tell them to take it back redeliver due to work schedule so took the delivery and customer service was not appreciative at all
