The counter size is perfect for our kitchen. We are replacing a larger refrigerator that interfered with the walkway in kitchen. The finish quality of refrigerator is very nice. Very easy to open doors and see items on all shelves. The interior lights are very nice. They light up interior without shining in my eyes. The fruit & vegetable compartments keep the produce fresher longer then previous one.

Great fridge! Love the finish (no fingerprints like stainless steel). Also, love that magnets can stick to front. My stainless steel one did not. It is very well laid out, is closer to counter-depth than my last fridge, and has more freezer space since the ice maker is in the door.

We needed a new fridge ASAP when ours broke. We purchased this fridge as a floor model and received a huge discount, so that is a plus! I like the French doors a lot and find that this fridge has a lot of room due to the configuration...more than my old side by side. It does run a little louder than I am use to. And for the price (even with discount) I'm surprised there is not an electronic display. But overall it does the job of a great fridge and I am very happy with my purchase!

very flexible storage shelves. the only draw back that I have noticed so far is the buttons on the dispenser are not back lit until the button is pressed so even with the down light that illuminates the cup being filled up from the fridge you can not see the other buttons and since it is one flat surface it is hard to hit the right button in the dark, it would be nice if all were partially lit ( Dim) until pressed for full illumination.

For a 36 inch 22 cu ft fridge, this beast seems to have less space than my old 15 cu ft, reason being the huge icemaker/ dispenser, and the overly deep door bins, which result in extremely shallow shelves in the fridge itself. Seems they just took a normal 36 in fridge and lopped 6 inches off the back Good points are that, contrary to other reviews, I have experienced none of the noise issues I have read about in the reviews. In fact it seems extremely quiet, so far. I also enjoy the thru-the-door water, and ice. And the fridge seems to cool as it should, and looks really nice. I am still within my 45 day trial period, and am considering switching out, but hesitate to do so because I have read of so many lemons out there, and this one (US made) works ok. I just wish the design were more space efficient.

Good looking and functioning unit. Having some trouble zeroing in on correct temp in fridge part. Seems to always be too cold. Overall fridge room a bit tight. No complaints on freezer. Good ice service-far better than the GE unit it replaced.

This fridge should have been a quality GE purchase but has failed on so many levels. It was priced way higher than normal refrigerators because of the unique color, design and size but has been trouble. The 1st fridge was sent with chips, scratches and the lower freezer didn't freeze. They sent a second one that the upper fan and cooling thermostat didn't work so we lost an entire fridge of food waiting 10 days for a repair. Still isn't cooling correctly. The ice maker is slow to produce and is extremely loud. Very disappointed.

Really liked slate color. With our space restrictions the counter depth feature was perfect. Working fine after a couple weeks of use.

I consider myself to be in the store at the right time. I was not actually planning on buying a refrigerator this day, but happened on an open box counter depth French door refrigerator in Slate. I was not expecting to ever be able to purchase this model because of the cost. However, with the open box price and also a 20% off open box items that day, I just had to purchase it. I can't believe the savings I received. I just love my new refrigerator. I plan to buy a new dishwasher next.

I was looking for a counter depth fridge to match my other GE Slate appliances and the options were limited. There have been some negative reviews and I can say over 1 month into my purchase, I have had zero problems. Good capacity, customizable shelving. Love the water dispenser and the bottom freezer is easy to keep track of what I have in there.

Purchased this unit because of its counter depth and size to fit in the cabinet box we have at our house. This is my first unit with a water spout in the door, so I'll keep you updated on how that works.

The fridge fit the space in the kitchen perfectly and the slate finish is beautiful. The water filter is easy to install, and the rear rollers and front adjustable legs did not scratch the stone floor in my kitchen during install. Great planning by GE.

Looking for counter depth refrigerator to save space and this one was perfect. The darker slate color stainless steel resists fingerprints which is wonderful

This was my first ever "adult" purchase! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

I was so happy to find this slate front French Door refrigerator that would fit into my space. It does not show finger prints which is great. Also the delivery guys we very polite AND on time!

My wife and I like this fridge. The size fits in our kitchen well. The inside is slightly smaller than most fridges, but that's okay because it takes up less space in our kitchen.

Bought new appliances to get home ready for resale and this was a very good option for price.

It is easy to use, has lots of space, and runs very quietly. The filtered water tastes good. I am happy with it.
