This is my first NEW refrigerator and I'm thrilled. First time having ice & water at the door. Love the finish. None of the challenges associated with stainless steel. Slate is GREAT! Interior layout serves me well. Remodel is not complete, but this refrigerator is a treat.

Beautifully made, stunning look, makes our modest kitchen a step above! High performance, use of space, so quiet, honestly I think the ice is colder than it's suppose to be!

This is my 2nd comment about this product. The right door of my Refrigerator is lower than the left door. I called to get it fix.

I've had this fridge about 3 weeks now and I love the counter depth. In my house it was a tight squeeze if someone was sitting between my kitchen island and fridge with the regular size fridge. Everything has been working fine so far, only a few small complaints. The water dispenser drips a little after getting water so there's always water on the dispensing tray. Also fridge doesn't come with a dairy bin for butter or anything to hold eggs. I believe those are optional accessories that can be purchased.

After one week Service required on GE french door, bottom freezer refrigerator.. Not installed properly. Needs to be leveled. Questionable information given about Geek squad coverage. Referred back to GE for this problem after being told at purchase would be covered by Geek squad from day one.. Took 7 phone calls before appt scheduled. Would only refer after telling about this situation

We love the slate finish on this product, the French doors with an infinity shelf inside, and the easy access to water and ice. This is our first refrigerator with the freezer drawer on the bottom, and so far, we are finding this very convenient.

This beautiful stainless steel GE French Door refrigerator was delivered only a week ago, so my review is based on limited experience. That being said, my wife and I are delighted with the attractive appearance and large capacity of the refrigerator, its well-illuminated interior, large freezer, and ample adjustable shelves. This is a replacement for an old side-by-side GE Arctica, which needed quite a few repair visits over the years, but did last 19 years. We're hoping that this new stylish GE French Door unit will also have good longevity and will require fewer service calls!

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. Love the slate finish which shows no fingerprints. The ice and water thru the door is easy to use and quiet. I almost did not buy this appliance as previous reviews stated it was very noisy-ours is quiet! the bottom freezer is large and has adjustable shelves. We purchased the additional ice maker and it works great!

ive only had it a week or so, it looks nice - i saw some reviews where people said this refrigerator was loud, but i dont hear anything unusual. the front ice maker panel is less than impressive. very dim and the readout is not that clear. with the technology avail today, you'd think they'd put a little more effort into that. Also, this fridge doesn't come with a dairy bin. seems like a common interior accessory that should be standard. they put the molding on after its been wrapped in plastic, makes it unnecessarily difficult to remove all the plastic wrap. The front doors are uneven, just a little. i'm hoping that the install guy can fix that. he has to come back because he forgot the water line hook up. Shelves and dividers are a little more flimsy than my 3 yr old Kenmore Elite. first world problems, but we did pay for a top notch refrigerator.

Initially we had selected a LG model until we realized that was too large and we needed a counter depth model. This was the best choice which fit our budget of $2000. All other counter depth models were too expensive. Design is sleek and looks great in our kitchen. Only issue I have is that I have to keep wiping it every now and then. We have this refrigerator for about 4.5 months now. It is mostly quiet unless when the ice maker is turned ON which we dont use much. Perfect size for our family of 2 but I can understand how larger families will find the size/storage insufficient.

We purchased a much larger version first and realized that it stuck out too much into the walkway so we upgraded to the counter depth. Lost some freezer space but all in all we love the refrigerator and it is quiet.

We are very happy with this fridge so far. The 4 fridges we have in 2 different homes now are all GE, as they were the only ones that have lasted. (I will NEVER EVER buy Samsung again.) The only thing I have noticed is that some things on the back of the top shelf have frozen so I guess we need to increase the temperature even though I have it set at 38 degrees. There also seems to be quite a lot of condensation in the fresh food section, but I don't know if that will cause a problem. We purchased this fridge because of the optional 2nd icemaker. It seems like none of the french door fridges produce or store enough ice for 2 people on a hot day. You need a very handy person to install the 2nd icemaker. The first instruction was to remove the freezer door. Anyway if you have a basic set of tools and follow the instructions carefully you can install the 2nd icemaker in about an hour. It may seem like a lot of trouble but it was well worth it! I got the 2nd icemaker from abt.com because it was only $89.10 with free shipping. I tried to order it from Best Buy but for an unknown reason my order was coming up with free shipping on the fridge and $60 shipping the icemaker when it was on the same order as the fridge. Also this fridge was a special order that took 11 days so if your fridge is dead this may not work for you.

Love this finish. Doesn't show any fingerprints. Lots of space and easy to find things.

So far we love it, it is a little smaller than our last fridge but that is because it is a counter mount. I would recommend slate over stainless steel any day, way less finger prints!

very nice refrigerator, and in slate color, makes it smudge free. Counter depth fit perfect in my smaller kitchen. Overall great buy. Bought open box and no problems whatsoever.

Now that I have had this refrigerator a couple of months, I love it. Makes finding items easier and has plenty of room for our household.

Ice maker every once in a while seems to get clogged so I need to get into the ice container and break it up but maybe I don't use that much ice at this time of the year. Other concern I have is that I thought it would be quite but not so much. But all in all Im enjoying it.

I loved the features of the GE refrigerator, but after a few hours water pours out of the bottom of the door. Waiting for a service call to see if it can be fixed.

It's a great fridge. Would have gotten 5 stars if the water dispenser didn't dribble every time you use it.
