It holds a lot of dishes, pots and pans. It’s relatively quiet. Dishes are clean, but very wet when cycle is finished. It has Boost settings for heat, but that uses more electricity and heats the kitchen, then a/c comes on. Regular wash cycle takes a very long time. It’s very low to the floor and doesn’t seem very substantial. I had my previous machine for over 25 years. Inside was porcelain and it had a fan. I never needed to use the heating element to dry the dishes. The installers were awesome! Over the years I’ve had many GE products. They’ve always proven to be reliable. Eventually I will learn to like this one.

Does the job but the cycles run long, the door is very lightweight belying its cheapness, the racks are flimsy, silverware trough loose and small. But, it is quiet and the dishes come clean. I also like that the filter is towards the front which is easier on my arthritic knees to get out to clean.

The unit gets the dishes clean and it’s quiet. I’m disappointed in the amount of plastic parts used. The latch that holds the door shut is plastic and the door doesn’t seem to have that solid click shut sound that makes me think it will last. I am very disappointed in the kickplate. It comes with two plastic caps that have to be pushed onto a piece of metal to hold it in place. They are easily bent and difficult to push on when trying to install them… and installation instructions on how to do it, if I was doing it wrong, were lacking. I guess for the money some people might think it is a good deal but coming from an era where appliances were built to last, I am a wee bit disappointed.

I have a hard time with companies asking for a review when I have only run 2 loads of dishes. But so far I am satisfied. I did notice the difference in racks being smaller and cheaper version than the last washer (16 years). Space for silverware is much smaller. I realize to get the bisque color, it was only offered in a basic model which I like no bells and whistles to break. I have noticed the dishers are very clean compared to the old machine, this is advertised I believe a 55 deciple noice level which was not bad. To start up is user friendly I am very satisfied and really just to get the color bisque was my main concern.. My kitchen is all off white and I wanted to continue with that and not have some off color appliance sticking out.

The GE Dishwasher is very quiet and cleans the dishes quite well. It has a steam & sanitize options which is great for dishes with caked on, dry food but causes the cycle to last between 3.5 to 4 hrs. My only complaint is the layout of the bottom rack. Its design could be better to include more dishes. Although the user guide (which needs to be downloaded) shows loading options, my dishes are a little on the large side so that I cannot fit dishes and bowls as they suggest.

It is quiet and cleans well. However you cannot adjust the tines to accommodate odd sized items. Silverware basket has four compartments that limits the number of pieces you can include for washing.

We’re sorry to hear that you’ve been less than impressed with your new dishwasher unit. We would like to provide some guidance to help with getting better dry quality form your unit. This unit does have a dry boost feature that you can turn on instead of heated dry. More information on how to use that feature can be found in your use and care manual (page 20) on the website. We take your feedback seriously and will pass your comments on to our product teams so they can review for future reference. Dianna@GEAppliances

Since I bought this dishwasher has been excellent; it works great the only problem I have with it, it that all the wheels on the bottom shelf have come off. And it does not store water, all are well drain after washing and the temperature work really well. and very Quiet when working.

Love our new dishwasher! It works perfectly. It’s quiet & the cycles are fast. The only thing (that I probably just need to get used to) is that it’s very light. The innards are plastic & much lighter than our old Thermador. But it works great & I love it! Zero complaints!!

Dishwasher cleans the dishes effectively and it is much quieter than my previous dishwasher. Wash cycle is longer and the appliance has lots of plastic components, but this is expected given the price point.

Bought to replace an older GE model that malfunctioned. This one has a design problem with the top rack. It can easily come out of machine whether loaded or empty. This is a real hazard.
