This fridge sure is shiny. It seems to me it holds much more than our old Last Century fridge. If I got too hot, I could probably fit inside the freezer drawer. However, I don't think it to be too wise.

We did a lot of research on the refrigerator. Great refrigeration unit. Only problem is The ice machine is TO small.

We haven't had a new refrigerator in so long and this one is awesome! Very roomy! And I definitely prefer the freezer being in the drawer on the bottom.

This is a nice fridge for the money, took a little getting used to the storage, the left sided door has almost useless sized shelves.

We have enjoyed this unit from the beginning, and when we had an issue with one of the doors, the technicians case back and fixed it immediately!

I was so excited to find this refrigerator! I got a great price and it matched all the built in appliances in my new house! The delivery and installation was excellent, very professional!

It has a loud humming noise and stops when you open door and goes back in when you close it.

Happy with the products except with fridge which I didn’t know at the time of purchase especially with the stainless steel all imprints all over the handlebars other than that it’s ok

The negatives: The water could flow a little faster and the ice bin capacity is very small. Ice dispensing is slow also.

Bought this fridge because we needed a replacement. Did a LOT of research before finding the exact one. Since purchase we have had no issues and it has worked perfectly. Would recommend.

I am having problems with the crushed and cubed ice delivery on this refrigerator. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

New refrigerator is always wonderful. Install was a bit hard, could barely understand the guys that delivered. Language barrier.

The fridge has worked well since we installed it. We’re still getting used to the freezer since we’ve always had a side by side.

Overall, this is a really nice refrigerator. The available size is incredible. Our old fridge with side by side frig/freezer always seemed to be packed tight. Every time I look in this fridge, there is always some space. Solid construction and nice stainless finish. As you may have seen, there are probably two issues with this fridge, but I think both are fixable. First, the ice chute is a poor design. It is too short and does not direct the ice to the glasses so you get random ice cubes shooting out onto the floor. This annoyed me at day one, and as an engineer, I couldn’t have this and we weren’t returning the fridge. So designed a 3D printed adapter to attach in seconds on to the existing ice chute to lengthen it and also provide slants internally to direct the ice to the chute. I posted this on Etsy (dot com) if you want to buy one (Search "GE Refrigerator Ice Chute Adapter"). Not a business for me so priced to make it worth my while, well actually my kids as they will manage printing and mailing it. Second issue is the compressor sound. It is not always noisy through out the day but there are times when the compressor is fully running and I would say it is louder than the typical fridge. But GE makes good compressors compared to LG and some others so would rather have a bit noisier over cheaper quality. I haven’t done it yet, but I plan to by a roll of mass loaded vinyl (on amazon, about $100) and cut some sheets to size and stick them on the walls of the compressor chamber. I will also put a sheet under the fridge, and against the back drywall of the alcove. Maybe even case the gaps between the fridge and side wall with some trim wood and cover that with MLV on back side. Just need to go up in height just above the compressor compartment. I am pretty sure this will significantly cut down on the sound. Will try to report back with results once done. So in short, great fridge except the things I pointed out but both fixable for under $125. Decent investment for a fridge you will have for at least then next 10-15 years I think.
