    Bought 4 weeks ago. Read some bad reviews but my experience with this air conditioner is greaf. Installed in a fifthwheei. Works great in Arizona sun

    i've had this air conditioner for 2 months and already broke down, the power dosent work, it has a red light not allowing you to turn on, i have 2 air conditioners that lasted more years than this one, do yourself a favor and buy a different brand, this company shouldn't even be selling products that dont work,

    These newer air conditioners are awful (newer appliances in general are they dont last very long at all or work as well) if i could find old ones I'd use them instead. The built in thermometers on the newer ACs are completely incompetent they go off the temperature that is RIGHT in front of it, the air directly in front of it, not the overall temp of the room i have wall thermometers and i live in southern oregon its been 90-110 since March and its not even cooling down at night so I bought this for a 150 sq foot bedroom that is completely closed off, hoping i could finally get some sleep. Figured it would cool down a tiny bedroom no problem, nope. I have a wall thermometer it will be 75 degrees and this air conditioner can be turned down to 64 (lowest it goes) and somehow its still not blowing cold air because the stupid thing thinks its 64 degrees! They ALWAYS start in fan or "eco" mode too its super annoying eco mode means it turns on and off every 2 minutes. I also have this same brand a 10,000 BTU one thats for 450 sq feet for my living room (also totally closed off with blankets and curtains) and i have the samw problem. Its better than nothing but man these built in thermometers are horrible. Ive had heat exhaustion all summer bad and i cant get any relief. I should not have to turn these all the way down when its 100 degrees and my wall thermometers say 75-85, and at night theyre totally useless. My house doesnt cool down at night at all either I'd return it if the closest best buy wasnt 100 miles away. Maybe the more expensive ones work better than these GE ones but I'd just buy an older one and give it some fresh freeon if i could.

    Bought for a bedroom and it works great. Eco mode turns it off when temp reached to save power.
