I recommend that you not waste your money. I bought it in June 2023 and in less than a month it didn't turn on again and I called the company and they said it was wrong. manufactures and they did not refund my money or anything, very bad purchase.

It does not cool down the room and it just blows air straight forward even though it has two little slides they do not work.

This is certainly not the type of review we expect to hear on our air conditioners and understand your frustration. This unit should be able to cool the room to 64 degrees F. Based on your description, it does sound like there is an issue that would best be resolved by having the unit replaced under the terms of the warranty. The ac doesn’t cool my small bedroom. I had it on the lowest temperature, which is 64, and I woke up in the middle of the night feeling hot. This ac didn’t do a good job at all. I’m returning it tomorrow.

I bought it in July 2020 to use for a bedroom. It worked just OK for the summer and cooled pretty good. Not great, but OK. It got warm one day after I had it about 6 months later and I thought, well shoot, I'll use it tonight. It is now a noise box that will not cool. GE warranty is worthless. I got from them a Good Will Certificate to use to buy another worthless GE air conditioner. Buy the air conditioner, send them the receipt and maybe after 8 or 10 weeks I might get a check. This is unacceptable.

Very cheap plastic and styrofoam. Struggles to make a small room comfortable. Spend the extra money and get a better model.

I found out after research online that this specific product has continued to break over and over and the product is still on the market with no changes incorporated by GE.
