It cools really well but it is noisy. I like it as it's almost like a white noise machine.

Bought it for an extra room we made. Does the job. Keeps it cool, doesnt take up as much space as one would think

This little thing kicks butt! It's not as big and bulky as the ones we've owned in the past, but it cools great! It's not overly noisy and it was very easy to install. Kept us cool on some very hot days!

It seems to work very effectively. The only things that I would change is it would be nice if you could adjust the air flow up and not just sideways. It would be great to turn the indicator lights off at night.The Eco mode is great because it causes it to shut off periodically. The remote control is great.

Good enough to cool a small to medium room. Kind of noisy though. Materials feel cheap, but makes sense for the price it has. I would have given 4 stars, but I had to return one of the three I bought because it sounded like a diesel truck.

Easy to use and grab remote when in bed! Keeps my small to medium sized room very cold and don’t need it on for long.

I was skeptical to get this AC unit, but WOW i was surprised. Very easily installation and the video is detailed, AC is super quiet but puts out a lot of cold air. This wouldn’t cool a room larger than 12x10’ though so keep that in mind.

I bought this at the worst time, middle of summer and air conditioners were hard to find any where! It was so hot in my apartment I bought the only one I could find at the time, not my first, second, or third choice. I installed it myself (62 yrs old and not in great shape). It was pretty heavy for me (and I hurt all the next day). It fit fine in my bedroom window. I did need to put a piece of wood (2-3 inches thick?) between the air conditioner and the sill. I was able to drill holes in the metal window in order to secure it. The person who reviewed this and said it sounds like a lawnmower was not kidding! This thing is loud and I had to use ear plugs in order to sleep. I did not set it on the power saving mode because I wanted the fan to run continuously. That doesn't happen. The compressor and fan go on and off together. It seems to have trouble maintaining a constant temperature. My room is maybe 15 x 15? Not sure. Honestly, I wanted to return it. But I'm too old to be lugging air conditioners around. As it was, I had to use a hand truck to get it in my apartment. And it stank like it had been sitting in a moldy warehouse. Fortunately, with the help of air fresheners and time the smell went away. It does cool my room but it makes a lot of racket, cycles on and off a lot and I constantly have to change the temperature setting to achieve a comfortable temp. I will never buy another GE air conditioner.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. It was easy to install. It was easier than I thought. I live the fact that it has a remote with it. I would definitely recommend this window air conditioning unit

We use these for small apartments. At the price it’s cheaper to replace than to repair. Haven’t had any trouble to date.

Its a cold air conditioner. Easy to install in a window. Cord was long enough.
