Bought this after seeing them on Dr. Jeff Rocky Mountain Vet in their waiting rooms. Figured it must be good enough. Small apartment means small fridge and the Chef Mate I was using before humms too loudly. Shopping for mini fridges is tough because they all make so much noise compared to larger units which can be virtually silent. I'm super sensitive to refrigerator humm, buzzing and frequency ... it'll drive me crazy, especially if it's near where I spend a lot of time. Ordered this online through Best Buy with free shipping and found a 20% off coupon. Wanted silver or slate, but BB only had it in black or white, so I went with black. Reasonably priced in this range. Arrived undamaged within about 5 business days after ordering, shipped out of California. Didn't like that it was packed in styrofoam instead of something more eco friendly. Unpacked, took off all the holding tape, plugged it in and shoved it under the counter where my old one was. The unit won't completely push to the back because the door hinge adds about 1/4" of an inch too much and hits the counter. I could take off the plastic cover or cut back the carpet, but it doesn't really bother me and gives extra air space in the back since the compressor gets hot, sticks out about 2.5" inches from the counter. Taking off the front feet doesn't help. Upon plugging it in it was extremely quiet, but after 5-10 minutes it got a bit louder to compensate for cooling the first time. Once cool the motor doesn't seem to have to work as hard when it cycles on. Having it under the counter also dampens the noise and I stuffed the sides with towels to help even more. Leaving open space along the top and bottom for venting. Now when it cycles on I barely hear it in a completely silent room. If it were in open space I'd hear it and might consider sending it back or end up stacking things around it. It's a very low humm and there's no breathing sound of coolant flushing around like other models. In normal use, the cycle on mode runs a bit long (10-15 minutes), but it stays off for much longer (2-3 hours if not opened) as the unit is pretty well insulated. One design FLAW is the plastic drip tray that sits over the compressor in the back, mine rattled and vibrated when the compressor was on which was super noisy and annoying. After figuring it out I just taped a small piece of aluminum (yeah, kind of ghetto) from a lid between the compressor and plastic and it stopped the vibration. Since the compressor gets hot I didn't want to use anything that would melt or catch fire. I almost freaked out, but I could tell by the sound it wasn't a mechanical problem and something just needed to be tightened or adjusted. The split doors is nice. It allows for much more freezer room than the ones with single doors and it's more effective. Stuff actually freezes running between the medium and max setting. The ones that have compartments ice up and end up only freezing what touches the surface or if it's set too high, it'll freeze things that are near it in the regular refrigerator section. The freezer walls do get a slight layer of frost immediately but I've heard that it doesn't really build up and they give you a plastic ice scrapper if it does. I don't drink soda so I don't care about the can holder, I'm considering cutting some of the wires out. I shove veggies or other things in it, kind of wish it wasn't there so I'd have more than just one space for larger items like milk cartons. The interior light is nice and looks like changing the bulb will be easy. The glass shelves are nice and removable as is the plastic bin. The inside of the refrigerator is cool and feels proper in temperature without icing anything up. All in all ... so far so good after a couple little hitches. The glossy black coating is nice looking and my ears and food are giving it the thumbs up.

Quiet unit. Fits nicely in Kitchenette in one of our guest rooms. Holds plenty of drinks and even keeps popsicles frozen

We bought this for a guest suite we intend to use as an Air B&B and it’s perfect. I wanted a separate freezer compartment and this fridge has one that’s just the right size.

This is a great small fridge for a small space. I bought this for my home office, which is off from my bedroom. I'm disabled, so the convenience of having necessities nearby made this a smart choice. Keeps me from having to run up and down the stairs when I want cold water and snacks.

Nice fridge. It's quiet, but it was damaged with a dent in the side. I would recommend picking it up from the store so you can inspect the box to ensure there's no damage. This was a Christmas gift, so I was disappointed there was cosmetic damage.

This little fridge is great! We actually put 2 5# bags of ice in the freezer and two weeks later they are still frozen. The fridge and freezer are much roomier than we anticipated.

I wanted GE quality and a separate freezer...great product!
