Glad the lid lock can be paused. Don't like that if you fill the washer and forget to put the clothes in- it will drain...or if you leave the lid open it will drain. (waste of water) 1 Large load takes about an hour. Our old one was about 35 Min. The "Precise Fill" is BAD!!! Either not enough or to much water. The fabric softener dispenser does not completely wash out on rinse cycle. So there is a build up inside. It is very large and cleans very well. I'm old school-learning new technology. I am happy with it...learning curve :)

I bought this washer Drier set for my appartment. It fits good for smaller places also. Cloths are being washed really well. I would recommend it for any basic/moderate washing usage.

The washer cleans clothes well. The 3.8 capacity allows me to wash throw rugs and quilts. The spin cycle is very efficient allowing for less drying time. The washer meets all of my needs. I especially like the option of choosing the water level.

Love it! This washer is fantastic, it was a little noisy at first but after a few washes it wasn't that bad. 5 stars because it cleans your clothes extremely well

Just had my new washer installed this week. Since my old machine has been broken for several months I had quite a bit of laundry piled up. It did a very good job getting the clothes clean in a reasonable amount of time. Somethings that I thought would never be clean came out sparkling. I did however have a bit of difficulty figuring out the water levels for the various wash loads. I’m sure this will eventually be easier. All in all I am very pleased with my new GE washer.

I would recommend it to anybody for first time or budget buyers. Cloths washed very well on different types of materials. Little louder on the sound.

I bought two washers from Best Buy previous to this one and returned them both. I did not like the fact that they had no agitator. My clothes did not seem to get as clean and the wash cycle took forever to complete. So far, I am liking the new GE washer with the agitator! The Best Buy team was awesome all through my buying and returning process. It could not have been easier.

We tried High Efficiency machine and did not like it. This washer has an old school agitator that works well. Very happy so far...

But it has only been a month. Chose this one over the Samsung one bc this has an agitator. Samsung does not, and I read that it doesn't clean clothes as well. I will update this review if there are any problems in the future.

I got this to replace another GE washer. It is easy to use and clothes come out clean. There are several wash settings and I prefer this dial settings selection over digital. The installation was also efficient and well done by 2 professional and friendly delivery and install employees. The only thing I'd add is a soak setting which I didn't realize this doesn't have but I get around it by pausing the cycle. Got this on sale, good value.

I bought both a washer and dryer set for my son's apartment. Even though they were the most basic models available, they really do quite a lot for the price! Now he has no excuse to not do his own laundry!

We've been using this new GE washer for a few weeks now. So far, so good. Does a clean wash for every load so far. Yes, the noises emanating from this HE washer is a little different and each load does take a little longer to complete compared to our old washer. We also purchased an extended warranty just in case. Will post an update after 1+ year. Stay tuned.

Machine washes clothes well (after 4 loads) and is quiet. Operation is barely heard or detectable. The spin cycle was controlled and low key (minimal vibration even with a slight imbalance of clothes). Overall very happy with the purchase but I would advise against purchasing the installation if you live in an older building/apartment. The GEK SQUAD policy is that they will not install if the connections are from the pipes under the sink (usually the type of connection found in older apartments) even if you previously had a machine connected that way. They will install if the connections are through the wall. Through the wall connections are usually found in new construction, older buildings/apartments usually connect under the sink.

Good size overall and good drum size. Easy to use. Does what it should right when you plug it in. Well made. Worth buying at the price.

It really cleans clothes. We had a high end non-agitator unit for a year before deciding to go back to an agitator. What a difference. It's a little noisy, but we don't mind too much.

Just what I need. Simple and plain but gets the job done without hi-tech unnecessary features.
