I recently made the switch from electric, glass cooktop to this gas stove top and I will never go back! Easy to install, easy to clean, great looking and the advantage of open flame, instant heat cooking. Coming from a glass cooktop, my favorite feature is how easy it is to clean. Just remove the grates and wipe with warm water sponge and you’re good as new. Four different size burners are excellent for different pot and pan sizes. Instant auto ignition so no smell of mercaptan in the house. Definitely my favorite kitchen appliance.

The GE 30" gas cooktop was an excellent purchase. The two grates have a good weight and are easy to lift for cleaning. It is easy to clean overall, and the design allows for easy placement of different size pots. Being left handed, I would have preferred for the knobs to be at center bottom instead on right side. However, it works great!

We chose this GE cooktop because it was similar to the 20 year old one that we were replacing because we broke the glass surface. This one seems to be of similar quality and we expect that it will last at least 20 more years. Easy to use and clean.

Our current GE cooktop which lasted over 15 years, finally died on us. The cost to repair was prohibitive and a new one was the better option. This unit was cost efficient and looked, fit exaclty like our current one. Ordering was easy, the installation guys which always scare me, were amazing! All in all from the price to ordering, to install and operating, been a great experience. My only hesitation in the value department was that with delivery, installation, haul away and tax the price almost doubled from initial purchase of $599 to a $942 total. So just be aware of that.

Still new so only cooked on a few times. So far it is excellent. Heats instantly. Looks great. Cleans up easy. I went from electric to gas and i should have done it sooner.

Great stove top. Very nice quality. Does come with propane connections if needed. Very nice to clean. Only issue is the burner indicators are a bit goofy in position

I've used this appliance for 2 weeks. It burns much hotter than my previous cooktop, yet simmers low. I set off the fire alarm twice (twice!) before I learned that high means very much hotter than I was used to, and medium is plenty warm. Very quickly boils a pot of water. Easy to clean.I recommend it without reservation.

Omg I love my cook top, it looks real nice in my kitchen. It’s also easy to clean. I love it. I should’ve bought this a long time ago.

Item arrived just as described. 30" was correct size, and cooktop operates perfectly, is great looking, easy to clean and has sizes of burners to accommodate different size pots.

Have been using these the past three weeks. No problem so far. Easy to clean. Looks great in my kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

So far, so good. After 20 years, my very expensive German made cooktop needed a few new parts. Unfortunately, they were obsolete. My repairman suggested I purchase GE or an American brand, since they wear well and are affordable ( in this economy). He then sourced this product, which was on sale - $400 off. I was very happy with the purchase, quick delivery and installation. It looks good and is very easy to use.

This is a great cooktop. Perfect for apartments or condos where a range installation isn't possible. Burners all work according to specifications. GE has been around a really long time and is one of the oldest but most reputable brands around. I had a professional put this in as I don't like to tinker with gas lines. Anyway it comes as an all in one type package. Just hook it up to your gas line and electrical socket and boom, you're done. Just make sure you check your measurements first. Generally if your prior cooktop measures 30 inches across, this will more than likely fit your counter top.

The cooktop is OK with no issues, but becareful if you will replace another brand, the countertop opening might be 1/2" smaller, and the nipple where you connect the gas line was shorter on my old one, and the new one was hitting the oven ... so I had to do some modifications which was not easy. Just check everything before you start the installation

I purchased this cooktop to replace an old one. It works great, is very nice looking and is easy to clean. Very powerful burners with a good variety to fit any size pans.

A great basic stovetop! Looks nice. Very easy to install. Just needed a screwdriver, 2 adjustable socket wrenches and some gas line Teflon tape. Had to use a jigsaw to cut our countertop a little though, as the stove we were replacing had rounded corners, which were rounded in the original cut of our counter top. This stove has square corners, so I just need to make the corners square and it fit like a glove. Very happy with my purchase.
