It runs about 500sqft in total, second floor above the basement it it keeps use nice and cool throughout the summer. Only down sides are that it is very loud, and because we are running it in a bigger room it be turned on before it gets hot.

I have a 10x10 room I installed it in when a heat wave hit . Took Literally 3 hours for it to feel comfortable enough and to feel a big difference in temperature change from other rooms.. Unit is not quit on Hi .

Good A/C for the price!

Instructions not so clear you do not need to run a hose drain if exhausting out the window and using A/C mode. I cut up two new hoses for nothing!

Posted .Thanks for sharing your feedback on the sound level and performance. Regarding the leaking, if your unit is properly installed and leveled, it should not leak inside the home. Be sure the exhaust vent connections are secure, since any air leaks can reduce efficiency and cause moisture buildup. The exhaust hose should also be positioned correctly, with part of its length resting on the floor. Additionally, the unit must sit on a flat, level surface so the internal moisture tank can function correctly, shutting the unit off when full and preventing overflow. -- If those tips don’t help, we recommend seeing page 17 of the Owner’s Manual for warranty exchange information. I had to drain the water from it multiple times in the first 24 hours, and one of those times it leaked all over my floor before I noticed. It is very loud, roughly 10db louder than what it claims, it rumbles so strongly my floors shake, and the fan squeals intermittently for extended periods of time in a variety of mind-numbing tones. It performed very poorly cooling my 100 sq ft bedroom. 100 sq ft! I will be returning it ASAP and just ordering something online thats actually worth the $550 dollars I spent on this piece of junk.
