I can’t say anything regarding the ice maker because I still need a water line ran to the fridge, but the space this thing has is incredible. I work in beverage sales and often have to store cases of cans and bottles along with our food, and I haven’t had a storage issue once. Everything is kept cold and organized. The running noise can get a little loud at times, but never to a point of annoyance. It’s only temporary. The depth isn’t too overwhelming in our smaller kitchen, and that was a huge factor in choosing this fridge. GE is also a reputable brand that a repair specialist will actually service. LG and Samsung are usually avoided by repair shops. I’m very happy with this big purchase.

Product as described. Dimensions are exact, it fit perfectly. There is so much room inside the fridge & freezer, it's the largest fridge I've ever owned. Shelving is easy to move & change. I like that the shelves are clear so you can see what is on them from the underside. The extra large shelves in the door are great for holding gallon sized drinks. The drawers are roomy; I love the dividers in them & in the freezer drawer. Can't comment on the lightbulb, other than the brightness, which is great. Directions for changing it look easy enough. Can't comment on digital controls, as we haven't changed the temp. It says there is a door alarm, but we haven't heard it yet because we haven't left it open yet. It looks great in the kitchen. The stainless is beautiful & fingerprint resistant. The handles are not fingerprint resistant, but are easy to clean. It's quiet & the doors are easy to open. There was a small factory dent in the side of one of the doors. Replacement was offered but it wasn't bad enough to warrant that. We were sent a gift card for a discount to cover it. We were satisfied with that. Not sure of the lifespan of a new appliance these days, but since it's a GE, we're hoping it will serve us well for a long time.

I love everything about this fridge! It is very spacious on the inside! It has plenty of shelves on the doors for condiments and drinks, and also climate controlled fruit/veggie bins. The freezer is also very roomy! We don’t plan on hooking up the water, so this gives us even more space. In addition, it is just beautiful! Very happy with our purchase! (Delivery was on time and the delivery men were courteous)

Great refrigerator for the price. Lots of room. I like the inside water dispenser and not taking up room in the refrigerator for the 'water in door'. Shelves adjust to my personal preferences. Not loud (although not a whisper either). Everything works great.

It's so hard to rate appliances right away; however, as of now this fridge has been an excellent upgrade. It has so much space, I enjoy the water spigot on the inside to get more space as well. Ice maker has been working good as well. The only thing is you have to have two free hands to get water as it doesn't come out with applying pressure with the cup below.

This fridge has been great for our needs! It has really good storage capacity for fresh ingredients and helps to avoid buying all frozen or processed foods. The freezer on the bottom is really good as well and all doors have a timer on them to alert you if a door is left open. The French doors provide a modern and sleek look. The water filters are easily accessible and easy to replace. I would highly recommend this fridge for your kitchen.

This is literally the best refrigerator I’ve ever owned. It was 2 cubit feet smaller than my last one but the design fits things so much better. This is my first time buying a refrigerator with the internal water spout and the ice tray in the bottom freezer. I LOVE IT! It makes way more ice than the kind that comes out the door and it so easy to scoop out. This is a great model and I’ll never go back to outer door dispensers. No worries of the ice freezing up in the door shoot. No dripping water from the dispenser making water run down the front of the refrigerator. Love, love, love it!!

French doors are the best. Lots of space, even for wide things like XL pizzas. Lots of freezer space, too. Mine is stuffed! Was quite challenging to fit though my porch stair railings. Best Buy somehow delivered it, and got it into my house without a scratch, with only 1/16" of clearance. Seriously! Unbelievable!! My only complaint is that the refrigerator bows outward for no good reason. That space is totally wasted. Some people complain about icemaker noise, but that's normal. All icemakers make noise, especially when they are empty. Ice dropping into an empty plastic tub can be jarring if you've never heard it before. The motor is super quiet – that's all I really cared about. Some other brands, such as Frigidaire, run very noisy. Glad I didn't buy one of those! One caveat: The water dispenser tube, just inside the left door, is too close to the wall. I fixed it by squeezing 5 quarters into the gap, then using a hairdryer until the plastic softened a bit. Now everything is perfect.

We love our new fridge. It’s a little noisy compared to our previous model (different brand). But we love the capacity of the fridge with the ice maker below instead of taking up space in the fridge. We also love having an abundance of ice compared to the ice dispenser style we had previously. We are happy with the fridge and happy with the price we paid at the Best Buy outlet!

We really like this fridge, size of freezer and fridge are great for my family size of 4. Just is a little noisy when cooling down.

I had a LG side by side for over 20yrs , then little by little the drawers & bins started cracking & breaking , than the ice maker stopped working . Than the pass 2yrs the fridge started making a noise that got louder & louder so I knew I had to replace , but I wanted a french door but had to have a ice maker & not one externally due to dogs leaning how to get ice , which is scary at night . I have other GE appliances which I love so had to get a GE , I love this fridge , makes lots of ice & the freezer is deeper than what you would expect love you don't have to open bother doors to get into the fridge and so much room & love the sliding shelf so taller items fit in & the veggie draws have a temp control for veggies or fruit . The only issue I really have is the sprout for the water it needs to be a bit longer so you could fill a pitcher I have to use a drinking glass at the spout & pour into a pitcher but it is ok since I love everything else about the refrigerator .

The refrigerator is an overall good buy. It has an internal water dispenser and like all of the newer refrigerators the water filter is easy to get to when you need to change it. It looks nice and sleek. The shelves inside are a good size and can be adjusted along with the other shelves. The freezer has an ice maker. The only drawback for me was you have to be careful not to obstruct the defrost mechanism or you will have “snow” in your freezer. That means it is better not to put anything in the middle section of the top drawer of the freezer.

I'm really impressed! The design is sleek, and I love how the stainless steel resists fingerprints. It has tons of space inside, and the adjustable shelves make organizing so much easier. The deli drawer is perfect for larger items, and the LED lighting is super bright, so I can always see what's in the back. It's also really energy-efficient, which is a nice bonus. The only downside is that the freezer feels a bit small, but overall, I'm really happy with it-it's a great fridge!

Very pleased with this refrigerator and the interior space is more than adequate, The appearance is beautiful and adds so much to the look of my kitchen, It preforms great so I am very pleased with this purchase. Thanks again for your help.

I read reviews about this refrigerator being noisy but most weren’t clear about what that meant. So here I am to tell you. It’s normal sounds are slightly louder than other refrigerators I’ve owned, but this thing make weird noises through the day and night. It makes a rhythmic low noise. You might think you cell phone is vibrating nearby. It can do this for hours and we hear it down the hall in our bedroom with the door slightly ajar. Sometimes it releases a loud buzz! It makes odd clacking noises. There are other sounds, too. You can expect to hear something strange every hour or so. Only the buzz is audible throughout the house, but in our adjoining TV room we can hear the sounds in the background. If you don’t care about noise, there is a lot to love about this refrigerator. It’s pretty much what you see, as advertised. I really like the acrylic door storage and crispers. They are easy to clean (I’ve owned ones that developed mold inside a sealed uncleanable part) and well-made (others break from the weight of their contents due to obviously poor design). Make sure your installer levels the unit and its doors. I had troubling leveling the doors myself. This was the only fridge that would fit except for a Samsung that didn’t last long and had the issues I mentioned in parentheses above. I would not buy this poltergeist again if there were other options, but I’m extremely sensitive to sound. I didn’t ding the rating too much for this since others may be more tolerant.

I got this refrigerator because my old on stop cooling and I needed on for my cakes so I saw this one at the store it was on sale so I got it, it works great, good size and there’s enough room in the refrigerator part and the freezer part. I’m happy with my purchase

Love this refrigerator. Plenty of storage, love the water dispenser when you open the door. Can easily store milk & large jugs in door shelves. Love the settings on the drawers. Overall, very pleased with our purchase.

Sleek design and so much room inside! It runs nicely and quietly. Keeps everything very nice and cold. Works so good my dad bought one too! We love it.
