I purchased this washer because I had a limited amount of depth to work with since the washer had to go in an area that allows a door to be opened into it. This washer is really great. I love that you can look into the top. It has a surprising amount of room.

Decided to switch out my 1986 Kenmore washing machine which I never had any issues with for this model of GE and, so far, it's good. It is very quiet for sure. Only issue, and I had to call GE about this.....is that the cycle labeled "colors, normal" did not give me the option for "deep fill", It does not make sense. This, to me, is the cycle where you put a lot of stuff in and NEED to deep fill. One of my washes started "washing" while the top pieces were not even in the water. So now, I am choosing other cycles that will allow me to choose the "deep fill" option. But sure wish it was on "colors" cycle.

This washer is very dependable. I have not had any problems, clothes are clean and fresh. Frequently used by family of 6.

I cannot say enough how much I love this washer. It’s been about a month and I can’t quit doing my laundry. It smells so fresh and clean every time. The tub is deep. I’m 5’5” and on my tip toes reaching the bottom. Install is incredibly easy.

This washing machine is fantastic! There is no agitator and the basket is very spacious so you can wash large loads. I had to use the owner's manual to figure out how to use it, but it's very easy to operate.

Great washing machine while it worked. Loved the look and functionality of the unit. However, after about 14 months, the motor died rendering it worthless. Contacting customer service, they would not even entertain there was an issue that would fall under the 10 year warranty. Consider the 10 year warranty to be a pretty sticker on the front of the unit, but worthless in practice. For the money, you would expect to get more than a year out of the unit.

Like can see through since there is no sound when the washer stops. This is huge inside since you can put two big comforters to wash. Activewear cycles is awesome. I have a full bin of activewear every week. Does a great job washing. Default settings work great. Great you can put pods and liquid. Now what ever is on sale can be used. Great choices of cycle to fit all different kinds of laundry. Use the casual wear and delicates which works great.

we have had this washer (and matching dryer) for over a year now and we have been pleased! the controls are easy to figure out and the detergent slots are still nice, clean and pristine. be advised you will need to evenly distribute your clothes or the unit will be off balance (which happens with all top load washers) but we don't have this issue often. highly recommend to get a top load washer. yes its a little trickier to load/unload and even I (5'6") need to got on my tippy toes but save yourself the headache of draining issues/mold/mildew smell of a front load.

Great washing machine because it cleans clothes and bedding well! I have not had any problems with it since I purchased it a year ago.

I bought this washer because it was one of the larger ones that was only 27 inches deep (for my limited space). I went for the model without the agitator thinking it would provide more room. However since the items have to be stacked along the edge - there really is not more room and it makes it a bit more difficult to load. Otherwise it is quiet and does the job.

Took some figuring out what settings work best for my needs. It is a big washer, holds twice as much as my old washer. Only real down side is that I have to break the load into 2 loads for my dryer.

The GE 4.8 cubic feet HE Top Load washer seems to do a good job washing. I especially like the deep fill rinse option. The only downside I have seen is washer is quite loud when locking and unlocking and when changing from fill to wash to rinse.

This is more than I can ask for. My only wish is that the glass on the lip was clear as it would be so much easier to view inside during the wash cycle. Other than that, it gets a 10. Only had it a few weeks so pray it lasts longer than my other (LG) washer.

bought it about 10 months ago: this machine is easy to use, works quietly, very stable (no jumping around), many options for washing clothes, and large capacity. I love it.

I chose this particular model because it matched the dryer I wanted. I am very pleased I did. I love the options, many more than my last washer. It is quiet, the clothes come out clean, and the cycles are quick. I really like the soap and softener dispenser location as my last model was within the metal frame and rusted. The clear glass top is nice because you can notice you should have selected the deep fill feature to get the top of the load wet. We installed ourselves and was pretty simple.

Good washing machine and I haven't had an imbalance issues after owning for 6 weeks. Lots of cycle options and the machine actually does a good job at cleaning whatever I throw in there

Very loud. Sounds like it has rocks in the gears. Clothes don't always spin as dry as I'd like. There are hidden options on some cycles I only found online by accident! Have had much better washers over the years. There are better brands available for the money. I only chose GE since other brands had a longer wait during COVID. Can't wait to save and buy another brand replacement.

I have had more issues with loads being out of balance than any other machine I have owned. I never had issues with my front load being able to wash very small loads. I spend too much time rearranging items in the tub and starting the spin/drain cycle. It is very frustrating.

Washes surprisingly well without an agitator. Rocks a lot and occasionally moves forward a foot or so from it. Might just be my uneven floors though.

Does a great job cleaning your clothes. Cycles are not very long.
