The instructions call for you to put 5he vent hose in a hole in the center window piece which depending on the size of your window may be blocked by the side extension pieces. And to make it ever better when contacting GE fir help their response is "We only offer help aftet the iten is installed"

BEST Dehumidifier I've Used

Worked great, though I moved to a combination AC/dehumidifier once working during the pandemic. I moved this to a bike shed where it is working to keep the air dry and minimize humidity impacts on exposed steel. Works great!

I had the delonghi model from Costco and returned it because I had to drain it too often. This one I have not drained yet and it is cheaper, smaller and a bit quieter. It was also easier to setup and the vent tube was longer so it gave me a little more room from the window. It also comes with wifi support so you can control it from your phone, though I haven't used that feature. Great product, very satisfied with it. Zero complaints.

Not enough power and the duct is at the middle

GE is one of the most realible AC brands I know so I feel confident with my purchase without buying warranty.

I bought this to help keep our school server room cool...and it has not disappointed. The remote control phone app is a handy feature for monitoring the room temp. The automated air damper flow panel does a great job of regulating proper air volume.

Setup was easy, and the remote (and the phone app) works well. My only concern is the volume of the noise when the compressor turns on. If it's in a bedroom or an office, be prepared for the unit to cycle back and forth between the relative quiet fan and the very loud compressor on an ongoing basis.
