I love this dryer so very much! It has a quiet feature that is awesome because I cant even hear it from another room. My favorite thing about this dryer is that the timer is for 80 minutes and then 20 minute increments down . That means no going back and turning on the dryer again for more time. My clothes come out perfect, with out wrinkles, and hot every time! I think that if anyone is looking for a dryer that works great with no hassle and wants a great price, this is the one!

We have always had GE dryers. So when after 10-15 years of use our old one went out I went with another GE. so far so good! Clothes dry fast and no more having to run it 3 times to dry one load. does a great job even on our large blankets. I am the mommy of 3 dogs and 2 cats so I needed something that worked. This is great at removing the pet hair from towels and blankets. It's very quite as well. I'm looking into replacing our old GE washer with this dryers matching engergy star washer!

I ordered a dryer with basic functions because I've read that the more bells and whistles on an appliance, the greater chance for a breakdown. This dryer is quiet and simple to operate and it does a great job on my clothes. It holds an incredible amount of items and takes very little time to dry a full load. It's well constructed and I feel that I'm using a solid piece of equipment and not some cheaply built dryer like some I've seen in shopping around. I hope to have this dryer for many years.

Replaced a more full featured dryer with this unit, but it dries clothes faster and a bit more quiet. I had never used all of the other settings like delicates/permanent press on my old dryer, so why pay extra?

Great value, nothing flashy about this dryer, dry's clothes and blankets quick. So quiet which is a plus. Worth your money.

We bought this dryer with the washer. The dryer has been working good. It is quite. The only complaint I have is the optimum dry doesn't work. It's suppose to stop (saving energy) before the cycle ends if your clothes are already dryed.

This dryer was a great value for the price , the only bad thing is it is a large capacity dryer and takes a long time to dry clothes.

First of all, I am your basic, no frills guy who is on a budget when it comes to washer/dryer. When on sale, this dryer can be bought for $289 plus tax and delivery which I think is an excellent value. I was not looking for a lot of gizmo, wiz bang features so I am very satisfied with this purchase. It does a good job of drying my clothes. It is quiet and gets really hot.

I love the dryer, but my only complaint is that I didn't realize it doesn't have a buzzer or some sort of sound off when the dry cycle is complete. Overall very pleased for the price!!!

The description says that it is quiet, but we got it installed yesterday and both the washer and dryer of this type are extremely loud when being operated. The whole house shakes from the dryer alone and is nearly impossible to be in the same room with them. I would recommend the dryer only if you're short on cash!!!

I had mine for 14 months and the motor went out. I'm a single person, so all of my dryer loads are very small. The repair man told me not to buy another GE dryer because they fail fast and are expensive to fix. He told me not to fix this one, but to buy a whirlpool that had the lint trap on the top. He says the last the longest. I bought my new Whirlpool over the weekend and hope that it lasts much, much longer.!
