The cups for smoothies are nice, and easy to use with the blades. the power of the unit does a great job of blending. Seems to be a solid unit that should last us a long time.

It was a Mother’s Day gift that she fell in love with. She loves making smoothies for the kids and herself, but the old machine would always leave big pieces of ice. Was so surprised to see how good this worked

In the first month, the gasket on the cup blade disentigrated so the cups can't be used. Only speed 5 will chop ice. The blade part for the cups apparently heats and expands when being used because you have to wait a while before you can open it. Do yourself a favor and choose a different product.
