So far so good. This is my second GE-50-pint energy Star Portable Dehumidifier with built in pump. The first one only lasted two months. This dehumidifier works really well. It has about 2500 sq feet of basement to dehumidify and keeps it at 45-50% as I have it set. I only gave it four stars because the last one only worked for two month.

We had an older one that needed to be replaced and the changes that were made to the newer model are not improvements. The water tank is configured differently so this one is harder to remove and empty. The valve on the back for the drain hose leaks a LOT because the plug doesn't fit properly. It does a good job of removing humidity.

This humidifier is an excellent product. It is efficient, quiet and has a large holding capacity. I am very satisfied with it.

This dehumidifier is working well enough. Only complaint is that the bucket is a bit tricky to pour the water out of. You get used to it, but it could have a better design.

Like title says, works good while it last. Currently on my third one second lasted almost a year. Would be nice if something that isn't exactly cheap could least last a couple years instead of months.

My first unit arrived with something just--wrong. When I turned it on, it smelled awful, and my AQM shot through the roof. It worked, but it wasn't safe, and then E6 showed up on the display. The replacement did great last summer, so I chalked it up to a bad unit. But I turned it on this year and--same thing as the last one. Horrible smell, AQM shooting up. I don't want to try with a third one. There's something wrong with the design or (more likely) the materials used in manufacturing this appliance, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

This dehumidifier reliably removes vast quantities of water from the air in my home daily. It is very quiet when it is running.

Its seens to work well and does or thing!!! Its amazing how didnt the basement is now!!

It does the job in my sometimes humid basement. It's a bit on the pricy side compared to comparable brands but I try to stick with the Brand Names when possible.

I really like this dehumidifier. It's so much more quiet than our old one. The provided hose is not very big but so far the pump and hose seem to be removing all the humidity I need them to. I haven't tried the WIFI option yet but it's pretty much set it and forget it. The hose is in the bucket, by the way and the nice folks at GE label that very clearly with a sticker.

This unit gets the job done! We've had mild issues in our A/C because of high humidity in the past. I bought the first GE dehumidifier at that time, but it had no pump. I bought this second one to be able to let it run continuously. This enables us to keep humidity below 50 percent. The size is not too big. As with any dehumidifier, it makes some noise and puts out heat. But it does the job it's supposed to do.

If you need powerful dehumidification with minimal maintenance and don’t mind some noise or heat output, this GE model is a solid and energy‑efficient choice. For quiet spaces or smaller rooms, consider a quieter model or placing this one in a non‑living area.

LOVE THIS!!! Best money I have ever spent! We live in eastern Oklahoma and it gets very muggy and humid here! This dehumidifier is a game changer!!! I dump it once in the morning and once in the evening! It definitely does its job and I can tell a HUGE difference in the air in our house and electric bill! Our house has stayed much cooler and my sinuses have been much better at home too! Highly recommend this!

When it works, it's excellent! The noise is loud, but typical for a traditional dehumidifier. The last one lasted about 18 months before it broke. Trying again with another one since it worked well.

Quiet and works well. Replacing previous model of the same unit. Was happy with it as well.

Overall a good product, I have purchased 3. It pumps well and holds up in colder weather. Most recent purchase, getting an error code for the pump but have the 2 year warranty and Best Buy took back to exchange or store credit. I have others for 7 years still going. So yes would buy again.

This dehumidifier works great...my only negative would be that at times it's very noisy.

Works well but struggles to maintain 40% humidity level.
