Runs loud but your AC air will feel ice cold! Brings down your humidity by 5-7 percent in a few hours.

It runs quiet and achieves the humidity level set. Getting the garden hose seated on the threaded plastic is tricky. Leaks are caught by the bin so no water on floor.

Unit was able to remove water immediately via bucket mode and performed strong. However, I needed a continuous drainage mode to function which this unit spec said was supported. I purchased this to replace a previous 50 pint unit that failed with a E6 code. Could not get the unit to drain automatically. There was limited documentation and GE appliance support site and contact us was even worse. Unlike the previous model I had purchased no hose was included and the unit does not come with a manual control to enable the pump. I had to purchase a 3/4 female fitting with a 1/2 line barb but it still would not pump. I shorted the hose to be 4 ft had it directly plugged into a n outlet and still no automated drainage. I gave up and will not be buying a dehumidifier from GE anymore.

Good dehumidifier, relatively quiet. Easy to use. This unit was purchased to replace an older Honeywell unit.

Bought this to help control the humidity in my home. We have a 1-story house that is around 1500 sqft, and this unit services the whole house very well. Turn it on in the AM and let it run for a couple hours most days and it's been noticeably dryer in the house. Only downside is that it does put out air that is warmer than room temp, but our AC is able to compensate without any issues.

Excellent dehumidifier. Easy to empty when full, without even having to shut it off. It is a quiet-running unit in the basement.

De-humidifier is doing a great job taking out the dampness in our basement. This unit replaced another GE de-humidifier which failed in less than a year, so we are hoping the electrical issues with the old one have been rectified and that it will continue to remove moisture for a much longer period of time

Easy to set up. I like having the hose attachment. I use it in a lower level and like not having to empty a container.

Works well and does what it's supposed to do, especially during this period of high heat and higher humidity. It's still new so see review in the next year or 2.

I have had it for a few months and it works great. It has not had any hiccups. I love how I can set the humidity level and it just turns off and on by itself depending on what it detects for the humidity level. Just be sure to empty out the water tank when full.

Moved the humidity from 77% to 52% in my 5000sq ft house with lots of traffic and fish tanks.

Works exceptionally well. Highly recommend this product. Better than rhe original version I replaced and easier to clean!

This dehumidifier has exceeded expectations, our bedroom is really dry in the winter and WAS extra damp in the summer but not anymore!!! works as advertised and is so quiet that I sometimes forget it is on and running.

Works great. Easy to set up. Hope it lasts longer than the last similar GE dehumidifier I purchased, which lasted less than one year.

This is the current version of the absolute piece of garbage that failed within 6 months with continued E6 errors. I believe it will be just as bad. It is working fine one month after installation, but I expect another failure soon. GE makes horrible appliances. Do not waste your money on the Best Buy service plan unless you want to get ripped off. They will replace the product for you, but so would the manufacturer. Once you use the service plan, it becomes void. This is an awful program. I was expecting to have coverage for an additional year.
