Great Dryer will get the GE washer later.We love all are GE appliance's and plan to replace are old one's with GE.

Great looking dryer and dries very nicely. only complaint is the lent catcher allows lent to fall back into the vent.

LOVE the large capacity of this dryer! It will hold a ton of clothes and I dried my full/queen comforter in it and had plenty of room to spare. It has many drying options to choose from, it dries quickly and quietly, and the end of cycle alarm has medium and loud settings but you can set the dial anywhere in between all the way around to get just the volume you want. Additionally, the alarm goes off intermittently so it's not a continuous annoyance until either the dryer stops or you have time to tend to it. I like this feature very much. The lint filter is easy to access and easy to remove. The bright white interior is well lit making it easy to find small items like socks, etc. My favorite thing of all is that this dryer fits perfectly into the small space of the old dryer it replaced yet it has much more interior room. Once small negative is that the door has to be slammed rather hard in order for it to latch but this is a minor issue, certainly no deal breaker for me. I am very pleased with this GE dryer and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a large capacity machine.

Had to replace a twenty year old dryer that broke down. This dryer was not my first choice. I had ordered another one that was almost $200 cheaper, but was too big for our door frame. This was the next cheapest one that fit our needs, and after two weeks without a dryer we were just grateful to have one again. It's done a nice job drying which is most important, there are some extra features when compared to its 20 year old predecessor, and seems a lot quieter too. It's getting the job done and we couldn't be happier, hope it lasts as long as the last one!

I love the fact that the dryer runs soo quietly and stops before the cycle end when it senses the clothing is dry. This is a great companion to the washer - GE - 3.9 Cu. Ft. 16-Cycle Top-Loading Washer - White.

Wanted a basic dryer without a lot of electronics and this seemed to fit the bill plus the reviews were good. It looks fine and has good capacity but mine simply did not dry. Tried every cycle and setting and it still took 2-3 full cycles to dry even a small handful of lightweight clothing. Took four 80-minute cycles to dry a cotton comforter. This may just be a dud but I chose to return it rather than try a new one [Best Buy offered to exchange] because of the lint screen. I haven't had one in the door before and won't again. There was always more lint on the door than on the screen and, of course, it went everywhere when the door opened. The latch on the door was also loose so you really had to slam it. All in all, just too many issues so I can't think it is all just this one unit. The good news - within the 15 day window to return and Best Buy handled quickly and professionally. Have spent thousands there and never a problem until this purchase.

This fits very well in a fairly small area. Easy to clean inside and out.

This dryer has worked great for us. Maybe not some of the extra features of more expensive dryers, but hey, it's just a dryer. Works fine for me.
