We use on in both of our bathrooms, great lights to add safety without blinding yourself in the middle of the night.

If you sleep in a dark room, no light at all, this wil lit up the tiny light in the dark. However, if you use those to light in hallway during night, you might strip yourself since it does not provide enough bright light. At first , I use it in the kitchen and garage and I cannot locate the second power outlet and light switch. So , I move it in my bedroom and buy a different and big one to use at hallway I would recommend to buy from HomeDepot for a brighter one. For the value , I still recommend it. But, if you ask me whether I buy it again, I will not.
