It charges you phone faster than just plugging it directly to the wall outlet. And it also protects your tv and ps4. I only had this for 2 of my tv and for the 3 tv i didn't have it and my power went out and my 3rd tv stopped working. I now have to purchase another tv i wish i have had this protector box on all of my tvs. Really good investment if you want to save your tvs.
