Sparks after 20 months to be replaced again , worst microwave

Although this GE microwave doesn’t have inverter based magnetron it has modes and sensor technology that cooks frozen food to near perfection.

I bought the GE profile 2.2 CuFt SS Microwave from the store, open box, however, the description provided details about the great condition of the unit. However, it did not include the big dent on the unit door, it looks terrible. The product was stored in a safe place by me until installation since the new kitchen cabinets were delayed. Unfortunately, I opened the box 6 weeks after to realize the damage, and the date for returning it was expired. So, I have to buy a new one and lost almost $400. In addition, the unit was described as Built-in compatible, which is not, so anyways I cannot use it for the intended application. Between supply chain issues and this kind of situation, it adds to the stressful lives we already have.

Love the GE Profile line. Microwave works like a charm. Easy to clean and operate. Clock LED is white.

So far a great product, we have profile line of ge appliances and this is a great add on. Big enough to cook a family size pizza...happy with the product.

Love the microwave but GE keeps changing size of the kit to use the microwave as a built in. The kit cost almost as much as the microwave. The only reason for this is to charge us more money.

Works great, and has a nice clean look to the front of it.

The microwave works as advertised and looks nice in our coffee bar.

Product box was open, dented in multiple areas would not recommend online purchase

Would have been a great microwave if the door wasn’t dented when it was delivered. No damage to the box so it must have been packed that way. No additional stock available so now I’m looking for something different.

I purchased this GE 2.2 Profile Sept 2020 to replace the same size during a remodel. I had to return and upsize the trim as the dimensions on Best Buy site were wrong (needs 27 inch trim). It has worked well until now -- suddenly the display cycles random numbers and none of the buttons are working. The warranty was only one year, so I'm looking at a $140 service visit just to come look. Probably cheaper to just replace, but I am NOT happy!

This microwave is perfect for our needs. Using for a built-in look by adding it to a custom cabinet. Very unique.
