Customers often highlight the ease of use and intuitive displays of both the microwave and oven. Many appreciate the convection bake option and the quiet operation of the unit. The microwave's downward-opening door, however, is a common point of mention.

The controls are not as user friendly as most, but I truly enjoyed using this oven, especially the probe cooking. Again, I loved using this oven and then 13 months after purchase the microwave magnetron was broken just before the holidays. Two months later, the controls went out completely, while the oven was still on. I had to cut the power with the breaker. Got a new mother board/ control panel. Next day, same thing. Its been a nightmare, days of missed work, constant cancellations because parts didn't arrive and now, even with Geek Squad protection plan, Best Buy tells me they don't have any 27" microwave oven combo wall units to replace it with. This is all that fits in my kitchen. There has been no help, I can only get credit returned to my Best Buy account. Now I have a ton of credit at Best Buy and no manager is willing to find a real solution for me. Maybe you will have better luck if a 30" wall unit fits in your kitchen.

Replaced an older oven microwave combo. The upper microwave is great however, the front lifts down like a normal oven (necessary design for cooking) but is a bit awkward for the simple function of reheating coffee which I do often. Minor inconvenience for the added function this oven combo provides. It is great having the convection bake option and allows making bake goods while using the lower oven for preparing the rest of the meal.
There is only one exposed element in the oven and that is for broiling. The upper rack used for broiling isn’t adjustable up and down but there is a low high temp setting that compensates. In addition, The rack is on rollers and is easy to access food after it has finished cooking.
Without a bottom element to deal with it is easy to wipe up any potential spills. I am not accustomed to using the convection setting for all cooking but can say it is great for baking pastry. All in all it has been fun to have a new gadget to learn to use. The dials are easy to read . the minute minder buzzer is not loud which is nice in some ways but it is necessary to pay attention to timing when cooking as the buzzer is easy to ignore and unable to here from another room.
Both the microwave and oven heat evenly. The microwave door is noisy when it closes as it is not as heavy as the lower oven door. The and oven may take a bit longer to preheat than the oven it replaced but not a huge difference or inconvenience.
Any flaws I have noted are minor and do not influence my overall rating.
In closing, I must add that Best Buy was the only store to offer free installation and the installers did a great job!

Fit our existing cabinet perfectly...both microwave and oven are easy to use, displays are intuitive. Wonderful having the option of both microwave and convection oven in top oven.

So far, so good - but we haven't tried all of the features yet. Looks good, and clearly an improvement over our previous GE microwave-oven combo. However, a couple of minor complaints - the pull-down microwave door (as opposed to the side opening door of our previous oven) makes it difficult for my wife to reach the interior. Has to stand on a stool. Also, the notification sounds are too soft for me to hear.

We've only had the wall oven/microwave unit for about 3 weeks. It works great and I love the look! Wish we had gotten it sooner.
The reason I didn't get it sooner is that I was trying to figure out if I wanted to do 2 separate units instead of a combo unit. From what I've read, Microwaves seem to have a lifespan of 10 years and ovens about 20 years. Doing 2 separate units would mean getting an electrician to separate the power, and have a carpenter do some adjustments to the cabinets and build a shelf for the microwave to sit on. I just didn't want to do all that work when I will most likely not be in the same house for 10 years.

Love our new combo unit. Looks better than I imagined and has features I didn’t expect. Getting it from Best Buy was the only way to go. They walk you through the process. Check that you have what you need, which is especially needed when you need to do a retro fit!

I am truly enjoying my new oven. I especially like the supported pull out rack. It has allowed me to lift heavy items and food that can easily spill with much less difficulty. My only problem ,which is still acceptable, is that I am short and it is sometimes difficult to remove items from the microwave.

Beautiful oven. i have only used the non-convection features so far, but everything works well and is a significant upgrade to my 44 year old GE oven/ microwave combo unit. i didn't even have to use the manual to figure it out. it was very intuitive. Be prepared to hear the cool down cycle after you turn the unit off or take your food out. my old one did not do that.

We appreciate your loyalty to our brand, and we’re glad to hear you’re happy with your new oven! The fan may indeed keep running after cooking is done, to help the internal components of the unit cool down. We’re confident the wall oven will serve your needs well for many years to come, just as your old unit did.

Both upper and lower ovens work great. But I had to deduct 1 point because of the following:
1) I was expecting that it will be an easy installation because this is a replacement for an old 27 inch GE unit. The wall opening (width and height) had to be enlarged a little bit (about quarter inch) for this new unit to fit.
2) Wife said that using it is not as straight forward as the old unit it replaced. Not that it's complicated but she has to rotate or push knob too many times.

My original Micro Wave burnt out after 22 years and when I tried to replace it I found out that I had to replaced both units: MW and Oven. 22 years is plenty life on a kitchen equipment so decided to replaced it with the same brand that was so great! My new unit is sleek, modern and also work very well.

Microwave is easy to use and cooks evenly. However, don’t know why the cooling fan stays on after cooking. Haven’t used the convection feature on oven yet but regular oven takes a long time to pre-heat. Also, for a $3K wall oven, mine was missing a bolt for one of the oven racks which was disappointing on a new appliance.

So far the oven is doing its job as is the microwave. Here is what I did not appreciate. The microwave settings are not easy to use. No one click heat and go here. I had to get out the directions to use the oven and microwave. The temporary $99 counter top microwave I purchased to "get by" was simple. Never used the direction book. The oven settings also were troubling as were the bells and fans...what is going on now? was a recurring thought. The oven racks are extremely difficult to move to new levels or even pull in and out. It almost fit in the guaranteed space but one little 1/2 piece required a saw. This was $50. modification. I will say they both do the job. The upper oven has a metal rack and bake/convection option that I have not tried. No time to read those directions yet. If you love tech and dials this is the oven for you.

Beautiful stainless steel upscale appearance. Haven't used a lot yet but so far good. Our old unit was slightly longer vertically with trim so we have a small area of wall at top and bottom visible to repaint but no gaps so that's ok.
