Barely made it 6 months

Yesterday, June 19, 2025, the lower right burner, main one I use all the time, quit working mid cooking. Will not heat at all. If I had many options, I may have looked for a different cooktop, but because it is installed in an island and I had to comply with the original configuration, I didn't have much choice. I am so incredibally disappointed in this situation. It is under warranty, but I will have to contact GE and try to get it repaired and how much confidence am I supposed to have in the integrity of the product? And how long will I have to wait for the repair? This was a very expensive appliance. If you have options I would not recommend this based on this experience. It looks great but obviously that's about it.
