I wanted a flat top, so I initially thought the touch sensor buttons would be good. THEY SUCK! If you do not lock it, (The lock button says to hold for 3 seconds, you have to constantly retouch, hold, wipe it, retouch hold several times before it unlocks) the stove TURNS IT SELF ON with the slightest touch! I've had TWO FIRES on the stove and ruined several pans because the "lock" didn't lock. OR the other burners got 'bumped' and turned on. While you are using the stove on ONE burner, the other burners turn on just because you set something down and it slightly touched the burner control. I HATE this stove top. Each burner should have a lock on it. So if you are using ONE burner you can lock the others.

This was an open box item and I do not regret my purchase!! I love my stove! It works better than I expected!!!

The unit has performed as advertised. Looks good. Cooks without discernible issues. Controls not very well lit or easy to locate in dark situations. Smears, requiring effort to clean.

I got it for a good deal. Easy to use. But having a hard time cleaning

The flat surface is nice, but the sensitivity of the smooth touch controls are ridiculous. If you set anything on there, it starts beeping, or turns on without your permission. I have burned several things on top because of the cooktop making assumptions that I am putting something on there to cook. It turns on by itself. There should be an option to turn off each burner and keep them off until I want to use them. As it is - I can’t set a spoon or extra dish without risking the burners turning on automatically. DO NOT BUY these type of cooktops where the controls are flat on the cooktop. The knobs are better because they controllable to the user.

its a good electric cook top. so far enjoying it. only annoying part is that the touch switches are too sensitive even when water is on it and it starts to beep.

I'm loving it so far. It takes some getting used to the water stains that occur if you let water drip when it's hot. I'm so worried i'm going to scratch the glass. our last stove was a piece of crap from the early 90s. Therefore; I didn't care what happened. LOL

Have wanted one of these for years but had to wait until I had 220V circuit available in the kitchen. So happy with the new purchase.

I love the multi burners and adjustable ring sizes. You can also sync the 2 left burners if you have a large griddle. Great for cooking pancakes. This cooktop is all digital, and will take some getting used to at first. There is a lockout just in case you have cats that like to jump up on the appliances so they can't accidentally turn on a burner. However, we have lost power a couple of times, and upon reset, the lockout is not engaged. a slight flaw in the design.

I have only had it for a week so I haven't put it through its' paces yet. We are upgrading from a 30" LG so had to upgrade the circuit too. We love the left combo zone for a larger pan/skillet. I would recommend you give careful consideration to ordering through Best Buy as it was a nightmare getting my appliances. Missed delivery windows, communication promises not kept, etc. Too much undo stress and lack of ownership.

Ordered the cooktop and microwave. Bestbuy setup 2 delivery dates already to delivery the Microwave and both times called to tell me it’s not available. What is going on? Still waiting on my microwave from a purchase on 9/6/20

Have always had GE cooktops, and this is just another good one! Only thing is the buttons are sometimes too sensitive...must remember to lock them before cleaning!!!

second time this cooktop does nor work properly, the 1st I had to change it for a new one, and this one the main area to cook does not work properly, only the outside burners work. waste of money to be honest.

It's new, but so far works as expected! A great purchase!

The GE cooktop is a great item. It works exactly as advertised. This cooktop is very easy to use.
