We love this cooktop! It has a more even heat distribution and food is cooked more consistently than on our old cooktop. Love the closed burners feature. Easy to clean and has the child lock out feature too.

Bought open box piece from Best Buy, was little nervous but could not resist the deal. Works fine and also has a child lock which is very good if you have childrens.

Really nice cooktop. The only semi-complaint is the grates are very heavy and you have to be careful not to scratch the stainless when removing and replacing them. Love the center burner for heating large pots! Overall very pleased.

We got this as an open box item as it was the display in the store. We were told it was 3 years old, but it was the product we had been looking at anyway. We have had it for about 2 months now and it works great! It was a smoking deal at $875 so we couldn't pass it up. The gas pressure regulator was missing, but the store made it right quickly.

Easy to use. Looks nice. Grate still a little tall but better then others. Prefer that each burner had an individual grate. Over all good.

Bought this cooktop as part of G.E. package. Looks nice, I love the heavy crates, but they are a little high.

The cooktop has 5 burners of various sizes that work well. There is ample room for the pots and pans. The grates are heavy duty. We've received numerous complements on the looks.

WE BOUGHT THIS COOKTOP TO REPLACE AN OLD VIKING MODEL AND COULD NOT BE HAPPIER, THE BURNERS HEAT UP VERY FAST AND ARE EASY TO CONTROL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!

Flames are too low to reach the cookware which will add to your cooking time. We were looking for an above average gas cooktop and thought this was it. We were wrong! Please do not purchase this unless you want to add to your cooking time.

I like this cooktop very much. I noticed some reviewers complained that it "took forever" to boil water. Please note that some of the burners are more powerful than others on this model: Burner - Left Front and Left Rear 9,100 BTU Burner - Right Front 11,000 BTU Burner - Right Rear 5,000 BTU Precise Simmer (don't use to boil water here!!!) Burner - Center 17,000 BTU Power Boil

I had ordered the GE Cafe 36" cook top but it is on back order so I settled on the GE profile 36" cook top same basic design as the Cafe model but with a few less features. This cook top looks good but looks are deceiving, The huge grates are ridiculously heavy and awkwardly shaped which makes them very difficult to clean, won’t fit in my sink. Also they are very tall which put pots to high to get the best part of the flame. overall all the burners seemed pretty weak due to that issue. The control location is so close to the main burner that they get hot and also get caked in grease, the knobs cannot be removed so cleaning around them is very difficult. you spend just as much time cleaning your cook top as you do cooking on it so it is just as important to consider these problems. In the end i returned the cook top and order a kitchen aid architect series so we will see how that goes.
