When we bought our home, it had an older version of this cooktop - but it had been neglected and two burners were not working. We opted to purchase another, and after a lot of research and budget consideration, we opted for a newer version of ours. I called GE and they had offered me a discount if we bought direct, but I found that Best Buy offered the same price and installation, so it made my purchase easier through them. I love my new cooktop. It does the job, takes little time to get to proper temperature and is well built. The knobs feel solid, the grate is heavy duty and comes with rubber feet to avoid scratching the stainless steel surface. Ample space for all the pots and the various sized burners make it easy to cook with different pot surfaces. I am truly happy with this purchase.

Works well. Good range of low to high heat. Easy to clean.

Best cook top we could find to match other new LG appliances. LG does not make a cook top in the finish of the dark stainless steel. A problem with the cook top is that the knobs stick up higher than the grates. We have often use a plywood board to cover the previous cook top to create additional counter space during parties. Out current plywood board will need to be modified to work with this cook top.

This was the best option cooktop that we could find to match our appliances.

Purchased/delivered/installed from Best Buy. Product works great and highly recommend having BestBuy install this cooktop. Really like the choice of burner sizes and placement. Works great with multiple pot sizes.
