Its weird to think doing laundry could be fascinating. I also didn't realize my clothes weren't as clean feeling as they could have been. I do wish the laundry set came in white. But walls are easy to paint. I'd rather have top of the line equipment regardless of their color. The graphite still looks sharp. The venting system is great always leaves the washer dry. None of the reported smell that people complain about from other front loaders. GE aced this and I'm sure with this machine as the foundation they will only continue to improve. BestBuy Geek Squad out of Owasso, OK delivery was great. The team communicated and were on time.

+ The washer is great on its own, but I love the ability to check the wash progress on my phone. I wish there was a web app that I could pull up on my computer. - Initially I thought the wash+dry cycle would be handy for when I start a load before bed, but after using it once I realized it doesn't have a proper exhaust and lint trap, which lead to the entire interior being coated in lint, and I assume with regular use it would cause problems. I don't think I'll be using that feature outside of an absolute necessity. + I love the load capacity, it's much larger than my previous washer, so I get a lot more done with eac bch load. + I don't anticipate the micro ban coating to completely eliminate the growth of mold, but I appreciate the extra line of defense.

Upgraded "Profile" version to the previous model released about 1-2 years ago. The main upgrade is a sensor for the moisture in the drum to know when to stop the fan after the clothes have been removed to dry the drum (this feature needs to be started manually). The previous version used a timer. The app is limited and buggy - hardly any real functionality. It does take too long for the initial setup. You use the app to change the detergent for Smart Dispense, but the ability to "set" is not enabled on the iPhone, thus reverts back to the default - Tide. Some main settings do not let you customize your load. For example, on the Normal setting, you can not use the "add extra water" option, but you can on the White setting. There is an option to download additional modes from the app, but currently there are only two options - Jeans and Swim ware. A large sticker on the front states Free Tide for scanning the QR code, although nothing happens and GE is not familiar. There is a Stain Removal option on the app, which has 29 different stains to choose from (Salsa, Face Makeup, Dirt, Dairy, Clay, Cheese, BBQ Sauce, Lotion, Plaster, . . . ) The Set button IS enabled for this function. Some settings on the panel do not have an indicator to tell you if they are on - prewash (bottom right) , as they are located next to other buttons. Overall is looks and works well, just some updates needed that could be done via firmware and app updates.

Had for a couple of months, it is good but not great. Settings are oddly not too customizable, the claim to fame is the large capacity. It isn't crazy quiet either. The electrolux i had before was significantly better... but smaller 4.5cu capacity.

The washer does an excellent with all the options we went with the Profile for the color but the size of this machine is amazingly larger the only issue we had was the installation and the pedestal still has not arrived after two months of delays

The washer does everything you want it to do, and it does it well. The capacity is great for a family of five and the app makes it easy to manage loads remotely. The noise produced from this machine is the only thing holding it back. When the spin cycle begins, it sounds like a helicopter is landing in our home, on all three floors. A washer & dryer set is only as good as the weakest link, and the washer is it. The noise is considerable enough we are evaluating returning the set for something else.

Great washer, very happy with this purchase so far. Great capacity, efficient, excellent cleaning. Agree with other reviews that it's loud, this isn't a factor for me.

We replaced a 12 year old Samsung set with these, and so far, we've been very pleased. One of the primary reasons we bought this one was the venting system. Our prior front-loader was frankly pretty gross, and from everything we've read, the Ultrafredh vent system was supposed to prevent that. While it's too early to tell the long-term effectiveness, our initial impression is positive! A huge side-benefit of this is the feature that uses the Ultrafresh vent to wash and dry a small load within the washer! The WiFi/App connectivity has been flawless, and has made getting a load out much more efficient. So far, we'd absolutely recommend this washer!

My family likes that this is a large capacity washer. It's easy to use while offering multiple wash options. The UltraFresh vent system is a nice upgrade from our previous washer, and the wash & dry is another neat feature.

I was looking for a washer to do my king size comforters and this washer can handle them. It struggled with one very heavy comforter but did just fine with the normal ones. The large capacity let's you get more done in less time. Also love the auto dispense feature.

I purchased the GE profile set to replace a 10-year-old set that was on its last tumble. This GE Profile washer and dryer are amazing. There are 5 people in our household so one thing were always waiting on is for someone to take their load out from the dryer or wahser. The GE Phone App took care of this problem!! Now everyone gets alerts when their cycle is finished and keeps the wash train moving. No more lagging on loads LOL

This is hands down the best washer on the market. I had an older version of this and switched to a different brand when I upgraded. Needless to say I ended up returning the other brand and purchases this model.

This washer is wonderful. My clothes comes out extra clean.love that you can use Google to let you know the washer has stopped washing. So many features. My husband and I are thinking about purchasing the matching dryer.if your on the fence about purchasing it don't be you will absolutely love this washer

Excellent product. No noose of water and no shaking. All the features are really good and high tech. Highly recommended.

All features are very user friendly. Size is big enough to fit a king size comforter and more.
