I have had this dryer for 11 months. I have called for service twice. The issue has not been totally resolved because of the problem. If I put in a light load, sheets, or just a few towels the most horrible pounding happens. It sounds like the dryer is going to go through the floor. I called service to come out. Tried to re-create the scenario that causes the problem, to no avail. I even shot a video of it with sound. So, what I do now is if this happens, I throw in a couple of heavy bath rugs to add more weight. If the pounding continues, I turn off the dryer and unplug it for 2 minutes. Plug it back in and wait another 2 or 3 minutes for re-set. That has worked, for me anyway. But for the price of this dryer, it hardly seems fair. As a side comment, if I can reset a dryer by unplugging it and plugging back in, there is too much technology at work. I just want to dry my clothes. Not reboot a PC. I gave this 2 stars because I can use the dryer most of the time. But malfunction still occurs and it's frustrating.

Wow nice dryer! My daughter was taken in by the color, but truly overall a good dryer for the price. The door is a little noisy/hard to open/close, but otherwise works really well! Large capacity (we dried 2 blankets in it at one time already!) The lint trap is very small, but hasn't caused any issues yet.

Amazing upgrade to our previous system! Easy to use and having the app to coincide with the laundry is a nice addition while doing other errands or house chores. Still learning the balance of the damp settings with the wrinkle free capabilities to get clothes crispy without ironing, but other than that, GREAT PURCHASE!

I love my dryer because it’s self efficient and saves on drying time. Since I purchased it my electric bill has decreased which I’m very pleased. It fits perfect in the same where my old dryer use to be. It’s very easy to use and very friendly to understand how it operates.

I know in giving this dryer one star, there may be a lot of people that gloss over this review. But honestly, I just couldn't rate it any higher. Our dryer was delivered mid-September 2023. It is Feb 1, and we are anticipating our third repair through GE. In addition, our dryer has been out of commission for almost have the time we've owned it while waiting for a repair through GE since it is still covered under warranty. The first time, the heating element completely failed. They replaced the dryer, and things seemed to be working fine - however, a little concerning that within 6 weeks, the heating element already failed. The second time, we started hearing a loud squealing noise coming from the dryer. Maintenance had to replace the bearings, and claimed that we are putting way too many clothes in the dryer. That's confusing, because we put the same amount of clothes as we did our last washer and dryer, and this machine is a much larger capacity. In addition, we are not "overfilling" the machine as he claimed. Sure enough, the next day after the repair guy left our house...the dryer was out again. We keep receiving a fabric refresh door open error. We have shut the and ensure the fabric refresh door is closed and all sensors around it are clean, yet we still receive the same error. We have been waiting for repair for over 2.5 weeks. I am so disappointed, and wish I had never purchased a new machine. For these machines being "the best on the market", the dryer is constantly broken and unfortunately, there is no lemon law in the state of Texas for appliances. In addition, my overall opinion on the washer and dryer is that they are too complicated. There are not enough "pre-set" settings, and too much customization required to get what comes standard in lower end models of other washers and dryers. In addition, some of the settings can only be adjusted through the app, not on the machine itself. There are lower cost units that probably perform better, are more reliable and are less confusing.

Dryer was dead on arrival ... never made heat. The installation techs didn't bother to check. 2 weeks later new installation techs came out and confirmed the dryer doesn't make heat. Crazy to me that the box is full of sensors but has NOTHING to test to see if a gas dryer does not heat up when it's supposed too ... not one error code ... insane. Originally ordered over 2 months ago ... delivered 3 weeks ago ... still waiting for one that works ... It DOES tumble ... but doesn't make heat, so we've been air drying our clothes for over a month ... it's pretty noisy and seems to be thrown together ... not high quality fit and finish ...

Absolutely HATED!! Only owned for 2 years and smelled something burning. Took the back cover off where the plug connects only to find it was plastic and not metal so the plastic had overheated and melted. Complete fire hazard. The refresh feature seemed nice until the lint screen gets clogged up with the febreze spray so it doesn’t dry efficiently and you’re constantly scrubbing and soaking the lint screen to get it clean. The only thing I liked was the anti-tangle feature where it would tumble dry one direction and then switch to the other direction so sheets didn’t get balled up. 0/10 do not recommend.

Loved this dryer but wish the dryer door wasn’t so loud when you open it! I also feel like a lot of lent gets stuck in the trap but would still buy this dryer again. Overall great purchase!

So far so good. Only have had the dryer for a few days but we absolutely love it. Quiet and nice looking unit. Too my surprise it has an interior light which you do not find on a lot of dryers.
