Recently remodeled our kitchen and was looking for a simple stainless microwave. I was contemplating buying a double oven and my bother-in-law (who sells appliances) talked us into getting the Advantium oven because he had one. At first I wasn't thrilled about it but then took the time to read the owner's manual and really started using it. This is the best oven/microwave I have ever owned. I was able to get rid of the old toaster oven. I love the speed cook feature for making breakfast sausages, garlic bread, and it's great for reheating pizza. You can reheat it quickly without the soggy crust like a regular microwave. Making boneless chicken breast right from the freezer is the best. It takes less than 15 minutes and they are very flavorful and juicy. I also love the preset food settings. My 11 year old son loves using it for making after school snacks like chicken strips and pizza rolls. Oh, and the microwave and defrost settings also work great. The one word of advice I have is read your owner's manual and you will love this oven. Well worth the extra cost. I would tell everyone in the market for a new microwave to buy this oven!

ok, i love this product because it can do almost everything real quickly. it,s great for fast kids meals like nuggats or pizzas or whatever, the speed cook option has it all , in unbeatable times. you can cook a whole chicken in just 45 mins, thats great. my only fault is you have to switch out the plates from glass plate to black metal plate , but once you get used to it , it,s ok. i use this alot more then my old microwave because i can do so much more . i think it,s worth the money you pay as it,s a second oven which is great for family meals. i would really recommend this , it,s a great buy

This microwave has replaced our toaster oven in addition to being a solid microwave performer. The pizza and snacks cooked in speedcook mode are crisp and wonderful. I have read dozens of review complaining about light bulbs going out (not user replaceable..$167 on average for the interior light), and general longevity. So far we have only owned ours for a month but it have performed very well. Oven mode preheating to 400 degrees took way too long, so this is best used as a quick snack oven for crisping and reheating, as well as using it for its microwave abilities. Oh yes....frozen chicken breast came out great also.

This is an excellent appliance. You can cook a turkey, toast bread just like a normal oven, and also use it as a Microwave. It looks great and is so easy to use I didn't even need to read the manual.

Most important, this unit fits nicely in a 15" deep cabinet. This allows a nice even cabinet line along the face. Other units require a 12" deep cabinet, as the door opens wider than the unit and hits the opposing cabinet. Personally I think an Over the Range Microwave looks foolish sticking out 3" past the face of your cabinets. We went through two others units first, before finding this one. LG Convection, and GE Convection. New kitchen renovations mandate improvements to the old kitchen. We had 12" deep cabinets, and our new 15" are the way to go. It's surprising how much more room the 3" gives you. You would think that the appliance designers would understand this. Only with the Advantium. The oven is great, cooks faster and better than a regular oven. Programmed menu allows for quick settings, and ultimately faster cooking. Less time cooking, more time to enjoy everything else.

it's a great stove but could use a more detailed instruction book.

I had no idea it was so complicated to use. I hate the controls I would still get a ge microwave but not the advantium I will never use all the stuff on it. I works just fine.
