I had to get this and matching Single Convection Wall Oven to retrofit an aging Maytag Oven and Kitchenaid Microwave. I did the fitting in existing cabinet along with the matching trim kit. The trimkit bottom plate assembly is a pain compared to older Kitcehnaid one. This one has be fixed to the bottom of the microwave first and then inserted into the cabinet. So make sure there is enough wiggle room to insert this and insert the plug into the electrical socket as the wire is not long enough. That said once done it looks beautiful and clean. The trim kit is also very good and has side vents for hot air and steam to escape. Now the microwave function itself. As this does not have the inverter technology like the interim Panasonic oven I had, this does the traditional on / off of the microwaves itself. This leads to either uneven heating for similar settings or over does things. Need to adjust to this microwave specifically. Tip: if purchased with trim kit and installation option there is no sales tax as this would come under permanent fixtures at home.

Couldn’t find this microwave for the GE Slate trim kit anywhere. Even Samsung vendors weren’t able to get one for me. Luckily, Best Buy had both! I haven’t used the microwave yet since we haven’t closed on our new build yet but it looks perfect! *the product is “dusty” do to construction

Microwave has all of the basic functions and works well. Trim kit was pretty simple to install and looks better than the one that it replaced.

I love this microwave. The sensor feature is great. All you do is pick the food, and it detects when it is done. It just cooks it right. The defrost is wonderful. Again, there's no guess work. The sensors do it all! It's a great size, and very nice looking. The express buttons with add 30 seconds is so convenient!

This microwave fit the space in my kitchen and matched the rest of my slate appliances. With the trim kit we were able to hang it above the built-in stove.

My old GE microwave did not get hot enough and took a long time to cook. So I decided to get a new GE wall unit and am very pleased with it. It looks great and is quiet. GE said it would fit perfectly, but it did not. It was quite a production to install but it is working and looking good now. The finish is unusually pretty.

This oven is not complicated at all, very simple and quiet. I used to have another which heat the food faster than this but overall I can recommended this oven !!

wanted something updated since mine was from the 80's and broke. after reading all the reviews i decided not to get a microwave/convection oven because the reviews didn't lead me to believe that it was a sound decision purchasing a 2 in 1 machine. so i just got the microwave and am happy ii did. at some point maybe a convection might be in the cards but I feel that there would be less to be concerned with having them as stand alone units especially if something went wrong and need a repair i'd be out both. from all the suggestive reviews by experts and not they say that buying it together could lead to issues with repairs and the like. So i just opted for what i think would be the safest route especially knowing how microwaves tend to last quite along time. Its a great size, its quiet and was a great price with the extra warranty.

This microwave is such a great one. It has good power, so it cooks so fast. The design is also attractive. So far so good. I wish the Best Buy offers custom installation for the built-in countertop microwave because I had to find a custom installer for this microwave.

I had a ten year old GE microwave that stopped working and was a built in. i looked on line for a replacement and found this oven, same size and dimensions as original and could use the existing installation kit ($169 cost). Very easy to install without professional help and works just like the oven it replaced. I am satisfied with this purchase. Was going to buy at Home Depot but they wanted a $59 delivery fee, while Best Buy provided free delivery. Thanks Best Buy.

I got this to match my other GE slate appliances that I bought in 2014. They didn't have a counter top model at that time. Our old microwave gave out, and we found this one. I love it! It's so large! It has great features, and express buttons that let you quickly pick a time for your food. You can also add 30 seconds at a time to whatever you're cooking with one touch. It's a great microwave!

Great microwave. Larger than most, easy to use, and very quiet. Highly recommend.

Large size is nice for family. Easy open door so don't have to strain pushing the button.
