To top it all off, GE has horrid customer service. I had GE come out three times due to the french door not closing right and they said it was normal. Guests have left my refrigerator open 5 times because they thought it closed due to the design of the left door. In addition, the fridge sounds like an airplane taking off from time to time. Not what is expected out of a $2,500 refrigerator. Avoid GE if possible.

We had it replaced with the same model and the second one was even louder. After exploring the problem online we discovered this is not unusual. We replaced the second one with an LG and are loving it!

We lost much of what be bought for Christmas day dinner. Can't do anything till monday the 26th. I think we made a mistake!
