I assume that any modern dishwasher would clean dishes well and this unit meets my expectations for quietness and cleaning performance. Our kitchen and family room flow into each other and I hate to hear the dishwasher while I'm reading in the family room. With this model I don't even know that it's running. I'm very pleased. It also dry's dishes and plastic containers very well.

I was aware of its great cleaning power and the less than par drying. Overall the dishwasher performed excellently, especially when compared to the one it replaced. So, why did I give it 1 star out of 5: the main board burned out after 8 days of regular use (yes, dishwasher installed for a little over a week). With 5 year Geek Squad coverage, I am going on 14 days with a broken dishwasher because the parts are back ordered (or so I am told by Geek Squad repair person via phone). Swapping broken one for a new one is not an option because it is not in local warehouses and replacement parts would take less time (so I was told by BB store manager). Based on my experience, I would say stay away from this washer and the best Buy/Geek Squad extended warranty, but YMMV.
