This was exactly what we needed to replace our last fridge. The footprint is the same size but inside we have a lot more space. The storage drawers in both the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment glide out easily. I would purchase this one again

The GE Profile Series 28.4 was highly rated. That’s why we bought it. We have only had it for about 2 weeks. But it is a very roomy and brightly lit. Makes ice cube contantly. We bought the largest one available to hold the food we normally have and we still have room. We highly recommend it. Dan

After fixing my 30 year old refridgerator too many times I went to the Outlet in Dallas & Found this fabulous refrigerator at 1/3rd Of the price. WOW technology in refrigeration has really improved.

If you enjoy the sound of the wind howling through your kitchen and nearby rooms for hours on end, night and day, then this is the fridge for you. A Geek squad tech assured us this extremely annoying noise is "normal" for this fridge. How sad that the technology behind "high efficiency" has this result which ruins an otherwise satisfactory appliance.

Just a warning. I was reading about GE Profile refrigerators in 2010 had cracking in the back wall of the refrigerator section. It is still true for a 2018 model of refirgerator. So, a 2.5 year old GE Profile refrigerator is going bad. There is also freezing in the refrigerator portion. The outside of the stainless steel door is showing spots from the overweight in the shelves on the door.

6 years and the freezer won’t go below 20 (which is 20 degrees to high…ice cream is soft, ice in maker melts) but gauge reads -9. Thermometer I put in freezer says 20-22. Second GE Profile appliance to go to crud at 6 years. Worthless brand.
