I love that I don’t have to switch my laundry from washer to dryer. Live that I do not have to add detergent and softer every time since it has the holding tanks for both. This is amazing.

We have had this unit for 2 years, never had a problem and still love it. So convenient for not having to change loads from washer to dryer. Start a load before going to bed or out shopping and laundry is ready to fold when I am ready.

The product works great. Drys just fine with standard 110 electrical outlet and no need for a vent. Just hook up water hoses, plug it into an electrical outlet, and go. It takes a little longer than other machines to dry, but acceptable. Nice to not have to move washed clothes to a dryer - already there. We were a bit disappointed with Best Buy installation though. It is a very heavy machine (about 300 lbs), so professional delivery is needed. They got it into the room ok, which was good, but they refused to hook the machine up saying the water faucets needed to be replaced. They did not even hook the hoses to the machine. We just cleaned off the faucets ourselves later, easily put on the hoses, and plugged it in. Faucets are fine. There are no leaks. It was easy to do, and it works great. Seems odd that the included installation did not happen. They did not even try. Not a huge thing, but maybe don't expect the included installation unless faucets are pristine.

This combo is great. I am a person who forgets to switch laundry from the washer to the dryer and now i dont have to worry about that. I will say clothes do come out feeling "damp" but they are dry. Its definitely a humidity thing with the ventless system but they do come out dry. They feel better with the "extra dry" setring. I also lobe the pet hair feature too. Overall a great purchase for me!

Tried Competing Unit from LG - This one the Best

So I have a whole story here. I got one of these becasue I live in a space confined condo. It worked like a champ. Most loads are 2-3 hours - even with a ton of towels and other stuff. Then the LG came out with a similar product and because the brand is sexier, and it's 9 inches shorter for more space savings I tried that. This one is just much more reliable than the LG. LG has a more compact unit and the software is slicker but I may have had a dud. It would not dry. I LOVE the GE unit, I feel bad for straying to the sexier unit and not sticking with what was working well. I'd love for GE to reduce the height in the next versiuon and add some bells and whistles like LG has in the software. Other than that- it's perfection.

Absolutely amazing- I did a lot of research and video watching before my purchase and felt well informed. It was truly a great purchase for me and my family- to avoid having to wait up to switch the laundry at night and to start a load before work and come home to it dry is worth every penny.

My wife and I are super happy with this purchase. Space saving high-efficient and super easy to install for the do-it-yourself type like me, and easy to use and pair with your smart phone. Check the User manual (before) for unboxing. I did not and I regret it. Still got it done with ease, mind you this unit is very heavy, 350 lbs.

The combo unit is a nice idea and gets clothes clean, however the drying options include damp and wrinkled, or dry and wrinkled. Sometimes (2/10) I will actually get clothes that are dry enough and don’t have wrinkles. I’ve tried small, medium and large loads as well as keeping heavier fabrics in separate loads away from lighter fabrics. It’s a craps shoot that end up nullifying any time benefit from having to move a load over traditionally. The unit also randomly leaked all over my laundry room on more than one occasion. I check the lines, drain pipe, filter, etc and nothing is clogged. Then is works normally (which results in wrinkled clothes). I would suggest waiting until there is competition and the combo unit market has matured a bit before purchasing. I’d return it and buy a nicer separate set, however I’m unfortunately past the time period (it’s only been 3.5 months) even as a Best Buy TotalTech member. The capacity and dry time ratings would be great if a) you didn’t have to run smaller loads in an effort to get past the wrinkled results and b) you didn’t have to run the dewrinkle program multiple times to get the wrinkles out, if it works at all (yes, I’ve stood next to machine waiting for it to end so I could get the clothes within seconds of the cycle end). Bottom line: you’ll spend more time running multiple dewrinkle cycles and/or ironing/steaming your clothes on top of the longer cycle times the product has. Save your money and buy a classic set.

Connecting to the SmartHQ app is highly recommended; this ensures that your software is always up to date. These software updates can optimize your Combo's performance and address potential issues. In addition to Dewrinkle, the Combo offers a Wrinkle Care option. When selected, Wrinkle Care will tumble intermittently for up to 8 hours making the clothes less prone to wrinkling. The cycles are longer than my old style washer and dryer. Cloths are more damp than I would like. Using the more dry option each time. Don’t like water droplets along blue rubber liner. I have to wipe water drops off before removing clothes from dryer so they don’t get wet.

I recently purchased the GE washer dryer combo, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! it saves space in my laundry room, but it also delivers exceptional cleaning and drying results. The energy efficiency is a huge plus, helping me save on utility bills without compromising on performance. Overall, I highly recommend this combo for anyone looking for convenience, efficiency, and top-notch laundry results. I gave it only four stars because it is louder than I thought it would be.

This combo washer/dryer unit was a bit pricey, but I bought it on sale and let me tell you - it is a game changer! It is ventless and so I installed in a first floor closet which has made doing laundry easy. Features you'll love - the lint filter is so easy to clean, the smart detergent dispenser is amazing (fill it once and it tells you when you need more). I also have a very furry dog and this unit does a terrific job and trapping the dog hair and my clothes come out without any hair. It is also quiet running and just does its thing. A phone app tells you when the laundry is done.

Aweome and convenient because of the no vent requirement. Laundry room is a smaller area and it saves alot of dpace only having one machine instead of two. The only downside is when drying towels or blankets it takes a while and easy to overload it to where have to do multiple srying cycles.

DO NOT BUY!!!! I have had the washer-dryer combo for eight months, and my initial experience was quite positive. For a family of four, we utilized the unit twice daily, and it consistently delivered clothes that were about 98% dry. A quick shake would often make them feel completely dry. We diligently maintained the machine by cleaning the filter after every load and adhered to all manufacturer guidelines. However, as time went on, the unit began requiring extra drying cycles. Then we encountered an error code so reach out to customer service. The first technician who came to our home was unfortunately unprofessional and dismissive. He even implied that our drying issues were due to a dirty filter, despite my efforts to show him that it was spotless. His focus on unrelated personal anecdotes was frustrating, leaving me feeling unheard and unsatisfied with the visit. After his departure, I attempted to run another small load—only to find it still wouldn't dry properly. The next morning, I contacted customer service again, expressing my concerns about the technician's behavior and competence. The new technician, was a stark contrast to the previous one. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a problem with the heat pump and ordered a replacement part. Unfortunately, the holiday season caused a delay, and it took nearly two weeks for the part to arrive. When the heat pump was finally replaced, the technician put in substantial effort, working diligently for about three hours. However, to my disappointment, the clothes still didn’t dry properly. After reaching out to the company once more, they said we needed another technician visit to confirm that the unit was unrepairable. Well, The technician came out once again, but encountered some communication difficulties with the engineer, which was further frustrating. The engineer was quite rude to the technician. The engineer said we must replace the communication board to the heat pump so they could run a diagnostic so now we are waiting for that part to arrive and we are left without a working washer-dryer combo for over a month, relying on a laundromat. Overall, while the idea behind this unit is fantastic, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Save yourself the trouble—look elsewhere for a more reliable option!

This product went bad the day after it's year warranty. While using, it left clothes wrinkled if the load was not extra small. We are a family of 6 and it is unrealistic to use this machine for a family. The tech mentioned it was meant for single individuals and small loads. I personally had to still use an additional machine (dryer) to keep loads going. My biggest ick was with the clothes being wrinkled, especially pants, when running a straight wash/dry cycle. Ultimately, it went out and we are replacing it with a side by side set from Samsung that is an updated model of our previous set (which I LOVED). GeekSquad came out on 4 occasions and replaced all possible parts and still could not get it to work. The clothes were locked in at one point.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had issues with your Combo, and the issues haven’t yet been solved with service. We’d like to look into your situation further. We can advise the Combo is not intended specifically for individuals and small loads. The Combo has 4.8 cu. ft. of capacity, allowing for larger loads, and can wash and dry a full load of laundry in about two hours, depending on the options selected and load type. To help avoid wrinkling, we recommend ensuring the water temperature isn’t too hot. Additional tips regarding wrinkling are available on page 30 of the manual, which can be viewed on Best Buy’s product page for the model when you go to the ‘Features’ section and scroll to the bottom. The Combo also has DeWrinkle and Wrinkle Care options; more information about those options is available on page 11 of the manual. If you still have the Combo in your possession, please send us a private message via Facebook, Instagram, or X with your contact information, complete model/serial numbers, and a copy of this review so that we can review the information and get back with you quickly. This is the best washer and dryer I have ever owned! The first things I washed were 2 king size blankets. They were washed and dried in less time than separate units. I was extremely impressed. I would recommend that when you have it delivered, have them take it out of the box. It's nearly impossible to pick it up off the bottom of the box. It weighs over 300 lbs. I had to spend $50 on lifting straps to pick it up over a massive Styrofoam hump Other than that, it's an awesome machine!!!
