Saved our backs. Bending down too low hurt so this solved that problem.

It's a pedestal it raises the washer/dryer unit. Seems sturdy, and well connected to machine. I would recommend this item as it brings the machine to a much more comfortable height for loading / unloading of machine.

This pedestal was a great base, but I preferred with storage. I change to the Pedestal laundry with storage

The ge profile - washer/dryer laundry 7” pedestal - in carbon graphite will come in so handy not having to bend over so far to remove the clothes from the machine.

If you Purchase a General Electric. Profile Washer/Dryer Combo, The Platform Base is a Must! It Makes it Much Easier to Clean the Lower Screen at the Bottom of the Unit.

This has made a huge improvement to the GE washer/dryer combo. My mother has a broken back and cannot bend over, bringing the door to chest level has made her life so much easier.

Was refered by a friend, they have the same unit and they love it. It is something you have to get use to, but it takes up a lot less space. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a new washer/dryer.

This is really good riser for my washer and dryer it helps me out when im foing laundry as far as bending over when taking out the clothes.

I needed to raise my front load washer and dryer just a little to cover the wall connections and to make them more accessible. These 7 inch pedestals worked perfectly. The taller ones would have been too high under my cabinets.

It's a bit pricey for what you get - just a pedestal with no drawer for storage - but that extra 7" is crucial to save my back as I bend over to put clothes in and take them out. I figure that over the life of the combo washer this pedestal will pay for itself in all the Tylenol that I won't have to take because my back won't be sore.

Added this to my G&E 2&1, helps so you dont have to hunch over to get laundry or maintain the machine. Worth the pricetag. I got mine with a promo for free with the purchase of the 2&1

Finish is good and the item is well made. It raises our new washer/dryer unit to a comfortable height for loading /unloading.

This pan box is good in case water leaks and provides reasonable height.

Although I do miss having a drawer under my machine. This is sleek and raises the machine up to a height that accommodates less bending.

These risers for the washer and dryer are great!!! They make the wash stand dryer stand up taller so it’s easier to reach in and it makes everything easier.

Ice size pedestal for this washer ! Any taller and it would have been too tall! I’m a short person! But I do like the washer is not on the floor! It would have been too short and I would have to bend down too low. I have back problems , so it’s oerfect

I hesitated to get this when I bought the washer. I’ve had a front loader years ago (2001-2012) I was younger and had no issues with bending down. Now I’m middle aged and I like the washer and so bought the riser. It took Hubby and I about 30 minutes to install because the diagram is not so helpful when comparing to the written instructions. Once we figured out what was “holes “ and what was “rivet holes “ it was easy to get the brackets installed. My back enjoys this so much. I also think it made the washer even quieter. It’s in the basement so noise doesn’t bother me but it is quieter.

Pedestals are a back saver. Pedestals with the drawer was too tall for my needs and some reviewers complained about them collapsing, too weak to hold washer.

I like having my washer dryer a little bit higher, so I don’t have to bend over so much with my bad back.
