Hard to find and expensive

Great product, Expensive to keep

We have some bitter hard tasting water and this filter definitely vastly improves the quality. HOWEVER, the fridge requires or suggests replacing every 6 months. @$56 a pop that becomes an expensive fridge! Would be happy to replace every 6 months in the 20-30$ range.

Just a filter

I have the GE refrigerator and I either have to buy a new one or not use one. There are no other choices that fit my frige. It is not carried in my local store so I had to order it online. No issues with that. I think it's a lot of money for a water filter, but what can I do????

The only filter that fits our fridge

You won't be able to just go pick one up at the store -- Lowe's and Home Depot don't carry it, and even Best Buy (where we purchased our fridge) doesn't stock these in store. I just wish it weren't so expensive. We replace ours about twice a year.
