This dishwasher was replacing one that only lasted 3 years. I did not have an extended warranty on it and the repair would cost 2/3 of the purchase price! This time I purchased the extended warranty offered.

Fantastic operations, quiet dishwasher I ever owned we love it

Have noto hooked this dishwasher up yet but the style is exactly what I was looking for.

My dishwasher was not delivered at the scheduled date, I called twice and was told I would receive a call back since Wednesday, it is now Friday and I am yet to receive a call to reschedule my delivery

My old dishwasher finally bit the dust (Whirlpool 17 years old) so I had to get a new one. It took a month to be delivered so I've been 6 weeks without a dishwasher now. Dishwasher was delivered yesterday. Was really excited to wash dishes and not have to hand wash. Installed it and ran it once while it was still empty and the thing won't drain. We have uninstalled and installed again and it will not drain. It is installed properly. The drain plug is removed, there is nothing blocking the sump in the back of the dishwasher, there is a high loop on the drain hose. SO, not only have I had to wait for a month for the thing to be delivered but not I'm going to have to take off work so someone can come to my house and look at the same stuff I've already looked at. I think things should work the when you buy them. They should not require a service call. I'm extremely discouraged and would not recommend this dishwasher to anyone who wants to be able to use it.

This dishwasher works great and is a higher end edition that I never thought I have. It's very easy to clean the exterior n cleans the dishes very well

Our GE dishwasher is less than 2 years old and we have had multiple issues with it. On several occasions, it has refused to begin the cycle (beeps three times instead). We've tried replacing the door switch, reseting it electronically per the manual, etc. When we called GE to find a certified technician to work on it, their customer service rudely told us there wasn't one in our area and if we wanted to find one, "that's what Google or the yellow pages are for". If you're considering this dishwasher, you might as well throw your money in a dumpster because that's where your GE appliance will be in 18-24 months. We've had the same luck with our GE gas cooktop - replaced one with several burners that went out and a year in a burner went out on our new one. Friends have had similar experiences with new appliances - GE has seen a real slip in quality - won't be buying any more GE appliances.
