I purchased this for a hallway between spare bedroom and bathroom, for those "night calls." Perfect brightness-- not blinding at night. Senses motion from 8-10 ft away. It has a nice rounded shape, and still allows use of the other outlet. I'm very happy with this light!

Works great, love this motion nightlight. I bought one and was satisfied enough to later buy 4 more from BestBuy to place in various areas. It has a wide-angle motion sensor sensitive to 10-15 feet, depending on placement & location, with an economical bright white LED nightlight. Nightlight goes OFF after a few minutes when no motion is sensed or a room light turned on. Also stays OFF if there is sufficient daylight. It remains ON in dark area if there is continuous motion. This motion nightlight is especially useful when late night wandering without the need to turn on a regular room light. I use them in the bedroom, bathroom, hall, stairway & kitchen. Great for dark closets where it can be placed so the light goes ON as door opens or when motion detected. Instructions state this motion nightlight is for indoor use only, not weatherproof. It has a standard two-prong plug fixed on the back and plugs flush against a standard wall outlet. IMPORTANT: Check for Price-Match because BestBuy has a very good price-match policy and I found that this item’s price varied greatly over time and by store. Also check the quantity covered by the price-match, there may a limit. I have found BestBuy Online price-match is usually limited to 1 or 2 items. If purchased at BestBuy Online price-match may be more flexible when using In-Store pickup and then talking to the In-Store Customer Service Associate/Supervisor about extending the price-match for the quantity you bought at BestBuy Online. I bought this to illuminate a dark hallway where the light switch is a bit hard to find. This item did the trick - it turns on automatically as advertised when approached. The light is bright and it illuminates the hallway nicely and turns off automatically when the regular light is turned on. Only caveat - when connected with the light upright it does cover both outlets. It is not a problem for me but those who need access to one outlet should take that into consideration.

Old bathroom LED nightlight didn’t provide a lot of light and was always on when room was dark. This one is so much brighter, I can actually see what I’m doing (aim is much better lol) without needing to turn on the regular lights which is annoying when you get up in the middle of the night. And the motion sensor works great and turns off quickly if you do turn on the regular lights.

I first experienced this night light at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago. I was so impressed that I ordered one when we returned home. Works perfectly. Motion activated to turn on when one enters the room, in our case a bathroom. If other lights are turned on, the night light will turn off in around 30 seconds. Once one leaves a room, it turns off in about 30 seconds. If placed on the top of a standard two plug outlet, there is plenty of room for another plug.

I have one in attached Laundry/Garage room... and main light switch is kind of hard to get to easily. This light comes on quickly and is plenty bright to safely come and go... to second refrigerator... or until I turn on main light to wash a load. I have another as nightlight in house. It is OK for such service... but I prefer traditional "always on at night" nightlight for these applications. I guess the quarter second lag until it turns on is noticeable in some locations.

This is great! We put it in the hallway so when you walk out of a room or up the stair at night it will light your path without having to turn overhead lights on that are too bright. This gives the perfect amount of light and activates with motion.

I feel like I live in a futuristic movie now when I walk around my house at night and the lights recognize my footsteps.

I didn’t want a night light that constantly stayed on so this was perfect!!!! Very bright lighting when in use and stays on long enough for brief use. Perfect for homes with smalls kids or the elderly. The only con was it takes up an entire outlet.

We put this in a short passway between the garage and the kitchen. Both have doors. When either door is opened, the light goes on to guide our way. Wish we had this years ago but glad we discovered it now.

Had a spot in my hallway that I sometimes have to walk at night and didn't want to have to turn on the main lights. This light works great since it is motion activated and is bright enough for me to see where I need to go.

Perfect for getting up during the night and you do not want the bright light of a lamp. Give off enought to see a room, but not bright to shock the sleepy mode. Soft light! Item is on the large size in outlet.

This is the brightest night light in my house, exactly to the brightness I need. Motion sensor works well and its range is long. Highly recommended.

It is nice and bright and works every time. I use it in a dark corner where I cannot easily find the light switch. Great price, great product - I call it magic!

Does what it says it does, it turns on when it detects motion and then turns off about 90 seconds later after it stops detecting motion. I have it in the kitchen and it's great for having a light when you don't want to turn the full kitchen light on.

Does what is should!! I just wish there was a way to set a time for it cause it stays on for awhile.
