I hesitated to get this when I bought the washer. I’ve had a front loader years ago (2001-2012) I was younger and had no issues with bending down. Now I’m middle aged and I like the washer and so bought the riser. It took Hubby and I about 30 minutes to install because the diagram is not so helpful when comparing to the written instructions. Once we figured out what was “holes “ and what was “rivet holes “ it was easy to get the brackets installed. My back enjoys this so much. I also think it made the washer even quieter. It’s in the basement so noise doesn’t bother me but it is quieter.

Pedestals are a back saver. Pedestals with the drawer was too tall for my needs and some reviewers complained about them collapsing, too weak to hold washer.

Still learning my washer & dryer combo but so far my family is loving our choice. Put the clothes in and let the machine do its job washing and drying them. Love it.

Never even took it out of box. It may have been a perfectly good pedestal but it didn't meet our needs. No drawer and to low. We were hoping they could use our
13' old generic base with drawer but they don't connect the same anymore. Larger one was out of stock and was hoping that this may keep the misses happy, nope. Ended up purchasing larger GE one with drawer.

Perfect height for my wifes bad back. Does the trick, and has levelers to keep washer from a wobble, recommended.

The new GE One and Done, is a tall machine. The reason for this is the Heat Exchanger residing in the top of the machine.
The door still opens at a normal WM height.
This Riser will raise it 7" additional inches which makes the unit more user friendly as far as reaching in to extract your laundry. A taller pedestal with the drawer would raise the machine too high and pose a tipping hazard.
This riser is just right.
