Unless i received a defective unit, the pedestal is capable of properly supporting the washer during a spin cycle. The pedestal does a lot of moving, and flexing. This causes the washer to take a long tim to balance a load for the spin cycle.

This occurs with small Loads as well. I had a repair man come out everything passed the efficiency tests but the idea of the dryer actually saving energy is NOT happening. When we sell the house the new owners can complain that the dryer leaves all clothes damp, so I am highly considering returning the dryer.
