Bought these to use with my Amazon Echo and SmartThings hub to automate lights. Watched a couple of videos on youtube before I attempted to install them and they were actually pretty easy to install. They are a tight fit into some of the old boxes and on my boxes with multiple switches I had to remove the fins from one side of each switch as shown in the instructions. Setup of the switches with SmartThings was super easy as was linking with Alexa. The only negative is that when I say "Alexa turn on/off the kitchen light" there is a few second delay before the lights go off or on but I'm getting used to it.

It was easy to install and works very well. The wireless range is good. Although I had to temporarily locate my Samsung smart things hub within 10 feet of the switch when I was first connecting it. But that's what the instruction manual said I would probably need to do. There is a very faint hum withing the switch. But I can only hear it when I put my head within 12 inches of the switch. The next similar switch I installed was even easier to connect to my smart things hub since the switches piggyback the signal from each other to the hub. I like these switches so much, I will be replacing 12 more switches in my house with these GE smart switches. The only thing that I would like on the switch would be a strip of LEDs on the switch to indicate the current light level.

Ordered one of these dimmers, and one of the add on switches to replace an IR dimmer in my living room. I have 4 can lights attached to these switches, and using the GE switch gave me a way to automate these lights with my SmartThings hub. Wiring was fairly tricky compared to what I'm used to, but the directions are straightforward enough.

Jasco recently revised these to utilize the white neutral cable. This allows you to use LED bulbs, but if you don't have the white neutral cable in the wall, you will need the old version and to use a higher wattage bulb.
