compatible with S6 series and note 5. No brainer if you have any one of the phones.

The 2016 version of the Samsung Gear VR is a nice improvement. The lenses are much bigger and it is significantly lighter & easier to focus than previous versions. Content is a little lacking but overall the headset is mind blowing to first time users.

This most sophisticated VR device. Watch Netflix is amazing experience. You can even watch videos that are stored in your device in cinema view. The only negative point is there aren't any extraordinary apps yet introduced for VR. I am hoping there are more coming soon.

Awesome piece of kit, however, because of the high demands placed on your phones processor, IT WILL OVER HEAT and shut down, and in a short period of time. So don't plan on using the device for any length of time.

This is so cool! I am in awe at the experience of this device.

My only complaint the quality of the screen is a bit blurry so its not the best experience but cool for the price. If you want HD the oculus will be for you. This is the poor man's version lol.

I'm extremely impressed with the gear vr. This is definitely a must have for those who have a compatible Samsung phone. You will not be disappointed. I'm sure Samsung will continue too add more content.

One of the coolest purchases you can make right now if you own a Samsung phone. It takes seconds to set up and, most importantly, there are games and short films and TV shows for you watch and play right now. It's fun to watch someone twist, turn and contort while in the VR world. The whole family loved it.

Release day is faster than expected. And the product is what as it advertised. I bought this for my friend and haven't heard anything bad about this gear from him.

This thing is pretty cool! Had a cheap google cardboard I got with my Megadeth Dystopia cd, but it only worked with small phones, and the experience was pretty bad. I got this when I pre-ordered my GS7 and it's real cool! Feels sturdy, and watching stuff on it is awesome. I like it a lot!

Hey I use mine mainly for movie watching, but some of the 360 effects are incredible, I'm sure for gamers it would be really awesome.

Very cool entry into VR. I'm sure there are better, but for the price you can't beat it!

I got this free with my Samsung Galaxy S7 and it is a lot of fun. I recommend getting a wireless game controller, but otherwise it is ready to go right out of the package. It even works when wearing corrective glasses. It is not as high-end as a full Oculus product or the PS/4 product, but it is a great way to experience decent VR without spending over $1000.

Finally someone did it right - for the price that will not harm you too much you will receive a nice quality product.

This is a very fun product to use. It is the first generation of this product from Samsung so it definitely could use some improvements, but overall I still enjoy using it. I feel completely immersed when watching a video or playing a game with the headset on. I would say my biggest complaint is the inside screen fogging up when wearing it.

Tried it on three Sumsung phones I have, all works great. But barely work on LGs, and Blacberry Priv is a no-no,

I'm a kid of the 80s 2 dimensional old gameplay. This Samsung VR set is amazing. I can't believe how realistic the movements are all around the player when we look in all directions with the headset on. Just amazing. One word of caution, if you are prone to motion sickness, takes some dramamine before putting on the headset. It is just so realistic and amazing. Well worth it for hours of entertainment for the whole family.

This device has your phone snap in and provides an awesome, immersion view of things. It requires a software download that's not part of the Google store and that's why I didn't rate it 5 stars. My only issue is that, apparently, I'm sensitive to the viewing and I get motion sickness using it after 10 minutes or so.
