This is the next level of technology. I cannot wait to see what all comes about because of this. New way to play games, watch movies, and surf the Internet. All I can say is that it can become a little heavy after a while of use. Other than that I recommend anybody to give the Gear VR a try!

Pros: -Easy to use -Light weight -High Replay/Reuse value. Cons: -Uncomfortable after long usage -Foam padding can be sharp -Accessories needed for some apps, which is an addition to cost Overall, it is still an excellent product. I use it a lot and enjoy what is available.

I almost bought last year Samsung VR but waited to see if they would come with something new which they did! I ordered this VR from Best Buy and received it yesterday and I love it! Me and my wife were playing with this VR for hours having fun. If you have a Samsung phone that is compatible I would say hurry up and get one! There are some awesome games and cool apps available! The new wave of gaming and entertainment is here!

Virtual reality is great, and this product is a great accessory to use with the S7. Though, I wish they could have made it HD.

A fun accessory to experience virtual reality. Not sure I will use it on a regular basis but definitely exhibits both Samsung phones and virtual reality's potentials.

I haven't ever used anything VR and while it takes a minute to adjust the lenses to see, once it's adjusted it might not be perfect HD, but the immersion is amazing! I would definitely recommend to any one with a compatible phone!

I thought VR was a joke but after wearing them and with the Samsung Note 5 it was an amazing experience. I cant wait to see where this tech goes from here.

Got for free. Did not expect this, will now be ordering a high end PC because this leaves me wanting more. Just need ability to walk around in next version with a way to detect walls and furniture. 5 stars.

It's a great way to pass the time but it overheats the phone if you keep swapping between apps, also bewary some apps can make you get sick.

Definitely a great buy. Constant updates. Only complaint would be that the S6 I use it w/ overheats, but thats on the phone, not the gear

I started with Google Cardboard, then moved on to Viewmaster, and have finally reached the Samsung Gear VR. This headset is amazing! It makes Google Cardboard look like a children's toy.

Absolutely love the VR. Can't wait until there is more options, only down side is we haven't figured a way to link 2 together to watch something simultaneously.

I got this VR headset for free from Samsung for buying a new phone from BestBuy. It's interesting at first, and can be exciting to play around with, but the novelty wears out quickly, leaving you with tired eyes, mild headache and a general annoyance with the whole experience. So far, the coolest thing I've found to do with it is watching movies, they sell movies for a lot of money on the Oculus platform, but it's actually very easy to play any movie file you can download onto the memory card. But... the device gets uncomfortable after about 30 minutes, image is always blurry, no matter how much you try to adjust focus. Device is slow (or I guess it's my phone when it's in the device, S7 Edge), constantly freezes and apps crash. And almost everything, if it's longer than 2-3 minutes demo, cost money, $3, $4, $15, $20, $40 and so on, they want this to be a profitable platform... I generally feel disappointed with it. I'll keep it and will probably be coming back from time to time to play around with. I can see how it can be a cool gadget for anyone that travels a lot, since it can offer a completely private movie/Netflix watching experience even in public places, as long as you don't mind looking like a Keanu Reeves from Johny Mnemonic.

This is a pretty cool item. Almost makes you feels like you are actually there, in the virtual place.

The gear vr is everything it was suppose to be and more. Highly recommend at this pricepoint.

I just purchased this item not a day old yet. I read all the reviews before hand and felt good about this VR headset. The problem may be more related to the S6 phone I currently have but this setup is not going to work for me. The two big issues are, 1. The phone overheats way too fast and makes the headset stop working. This starts only after a few minutes into a program. This is very aggravating and a big disappointment. 2. The scenes are not real clear no matter how much focusing you try. Again not so much disappointed with the headset itself just the system at whole. I think the really big problem I am faced with now is I just got a taste of the VR world and will take this back and invest in the better and unfortunately higher dollar set.

Purchased this to play Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. The game was a hit and didn't have any issues working the VR.

It is sad that I have to give this device a negative review. I got one for Christmas and use my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. The operation works just fine. It is the screen that will give you headaches. If you have a LCD tv walk up to it very close. You will see thousands of black squares (outlines)...this is what you see in the headset. Not all that clear,

Pretty amazing thing. Can get a little moist on your face after awhile but besides that's I see no downside.
