It's Gears so if course it's good. Payed an insanely low price while on sale. Adds some open world elements to the classic gears gameplay. Oh and the graphics are insane on the series x.

Campaign was better than Gears of War 4, microtransaction purchases for skins seems quite pricey, Escape mode keeps you interested for a few rounds, but loses luster after several games, Tour of Duty requires too much time to complete, Gameplay is very similar to previous versions, with the execption of the more open sections. Would recommend to others if discounted.

This is such a great game! I love gears and I’ve played and beat every last one of them. If you love the gears series then you’ll love this. It’s got a good story with plenty of action. Co-op on this with a friend or friends is very fun.

Love the gears franchise, but was a little disappointed with gears 4. Not a bad game just not as good as it could be. After playing through 5 they definitely uped the ante. Story is 10x better than 4, graphics are incredibly in 4k w/the X and tweaks to gameplay are a welcomed addition. Got it with $10 preorder reward from BB so at $50 it was a great value.

I played Gears 5 back to back with Gears 4 and while 4 was solid, it was pretty same-y from the original trilogy. Gears 5 on the other hand, kept the great gunplay, but opened up the world with big areas with different encounters and secrets to explore. Once you get to specific areas attached to the open world, it's more similar to older Gears, with tight quarters and level designs that are conducive to some good firefights. The mix of environments and pacing they achieved between the two is really the shot in the arm the series needed and helps it to feel fresh. I had a great time with this game.

Really enjoy the gears of war franchise. Game has excellent graphics and gameplay is fun, especially being able to play campaign with someone else locally or online.

I've been a fan of Gear of War since the 1st one & it gets better & better. Everything from the storyline, characters, weapons & the graphics... I recommend getting this game!

For an old gamer, this is reminiscent of the first Gears played on my original XBOX, only the story line is better, and the graphics are great, which compliments this franchise!

Bought this online for my sons birthday on black friday. Picked it up in the store with ease. Hes been playing it and I watch and am just in awe with the graphics and the storyline. Great purchase and definitely recommend.

Gears of War 5 is a continuation of the Gears Saga. In short, you can expect great graphics, great gameplay, new modes, such as "escape," and plenty of "add-ons" to come. Although the game play has a different feel compared to previous versions of the game, it is well worth having in your collection if you are an avid shooter gamer.

it is a good game , but the memory of playing my First time on Gears of War 1 was always so memorable with new and unique weapons mechanics.. wish it had more of that.. Smooth game play, great graphics and still enjoyable. still playing through the game so i will update once the campaign is completed

This is the best game for nintendo 64 that has ever came out by sony, sega has done it one again. The water guns are all great and look life like, the hedger on the super soaker is great too.

The graphics and story are very good. Gameplay is smooth and a lot of different weapons to choose from. If you liked the Gears series, then you’ll love this game.

I’ve enjoyed all of the Gears games and this preserves the outstanding gameplay the series is known for along with eye-popping graphics and sound effects. The only flaw is the incorporation of open-world elements which fell flat. Hopefully the developers keep Gears linear for the next game.

the game keeps u going graphics are amazing game play is amazing they did a great job with it ending could have been better but beside that I'll play it over and over the online play was amazing as well

I have owned all the other Gears games so I had to get this one. It's different, got to start with that. I play mostly online so I haven't gotten around to the campaign but the way you play online is much different. From the loadout of weapons to characters you pick to start with (each is different) to buying weapons mid game with points you earn. It took me a bit to get used to but I started understanding what was going on and I can't say I like it more or less than previous versions. All I can say is it's different. I am definitely enjoying it and playing a lot of games online, there's just a little learning curve. Bottom line if you liked the previous versions I think this will be a must get for you.

This game has amazinf graphics and has a awesome store line to continue from the last game. 10 out of 10
